A Theory

poke holes in *that*

*Yanno what sets off so many “independent” voters about Sarah Palin?

She’s young, strong and fertile and therefore her very being demands much more from males. [or makes them confront their own inadequacies.]

Same for women only from the ‘can’t compete’ angle.

Made me laff. Thot I’d share.

or makes them confront their own inadequacies

Or run like hell from them, which seems to be the more common reaction.

She has a funny accent– and euwww she cleans fish — and loves the woods— how would she know anything about what the world is like– she might be beautiful but she is not educated– you know in the right schools–they love Hillary and hate Sarah– that says it all–

You know what wins elections? Independent voters. It isn’t good if she is setting them off. It isn’t good that she has created a lot of enemies within the Republican rank and file either.

I heard that too Claire & I was yelling into the radio: “Jane you ignorant slut”

In that “survey” a bunch of young losers who have been watching TV & living off their parents just named the only famous person they knew.

She’s definitely fertile…However that doesn’t make for a good Ppresident and it certainly doesn’t make you smart.

Sarah Palin is confident, happy, and has definite opinions. She has a husband who loves her (from what we can see, at least) and has carried all her pregnancies to term. She keeps on keepin’ on, and doesn’t complain.

Sarah Palin is NOT – a victim, she’s not uncertain, not filled with angst, not bored or angry with life, not afraid of anything.

The message today’s kids are being raised with is “you gotta have a grievance”. Even the Feminists from the ’60′s(I was one)had to have a pile of discontent to display to be ‘authentic’. Hard to keep your “self-esteeeeem” when faced with Sarah Palin.

Toad’s absolutely correct; but like most Prog comments, it’s totally useless, meaningless, and somehow satisfying to them.

I don’t think she has created those CircleR “enemies.” It’s not like she ran up to them and poked ‘em in the eye. She just called stuff like she saw it. Without asking permission, without ‘consultaaaation’ with them, without coddling them. So, I guess, they could see that as a poke in the eye. But whoinhell is she — the EXgovernor of some hick state [*cough*with a lot of freakin oil*cough*] Which says more about them than they seem comfortable with…

As to the much vaunted “Independent Voter’ that everyone keeps pandering to: Hey. Duu-uuude. Figure out whatinfuck you stand for and pick some Values. Sure, it’s funny to watch the monkeys dance to your whim; but rly, srsly. We got a country to get back on track. We no longer got time for horseplay, ‘k? Grow the hell up.

Toad, just because you can make a snide commit dos not make you smart. You know as in just because you can read a teleprompter dos not make you fit to be POTUS.

Yes that is very true, most Prog’s remarks/snipes are for there own amusement. Much like mental masturbation, lots of noise and fury signifying nothing and resulting in the same.

Claire, she busted up the republican establishment in Alaska. Politicians don’t like loosing their gravy train. They also keep friends on the gray train who don’t want anybody but “team players” on board. They wanted to take her out and all the republicans that bad mouth Palin are team players, they don’t want her around.

She hasn’t really done anything to deserve the ratings drop. It’s the constant pounding by the Lamestream Media that’s starting to sink in. It’s a FUD campaign.

As an “Independent Voter” I think Sarah Palin would make a great President. I just wish she could get elected.

But I will skip voting if the Republican candidate is Mitt Romney.
    No more flip-floppers.

I think she’s great, but I don’t like how the only measure in the MSM is whether she would win the Presidency.

There are many intelligent, influential people that are judged by other standards. Just cause you wouldn’t get elected is not a strike against you.

We have had very few presidents, and many great people.

Not sure I got that out coherently.

Douglas, you said it well and she may be better on the outside as one building influence, being a lightning rod, raising money and expressing ideas that others (candidates) dare not raise.

She has expanded the marketplace of ideas which stresses and hopefully strengthens the candidates (ours, and scares the wits out of the others).
