A group of rowdy students took over a Tucson school board meeting Tuesday night, chaining themselves together to protest a change to a Mexican-American studies class, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported.

The governing board of the Tucson Unified School District was supposed to consider a plan that would make a class teaching history from a Mexican-American perspective an elective, instead of a required course

erm, isn’t it supposed to be history– as opposed to fiction?

activist writers of the 20th century should be an elective.

if they must, make it reqired on the other side of the border.

This is no different that the “palestinians” who say they want Israel wiped off the map. Suffice it to say these La Raza scum have been pressuring their point for years: New Mexico, Arizona and Southern Kaleeefornia belong to them and NOT the gringos!!!!

What is really annoying to me is (and I could tell they are trained) how they knew exactly what thery were going to do by chaining themselves in and acting just like the SEIU but even more so all these groups are backed by the evil of communist/statist/socialist hierarchy in this world. The spirit of the Founding Fathers of this country has constantly been under attack over the last 2 1/2 centuries! This is just downright ugly.

I don’t give a sheite what the pc’ers would say, I’d bring law and order into the whole situation and start shooting the bastards. And they herding them all the hell back across the freeking Rio Grande!

(Caution: the following comment is restricted to students currently enrolled in The Fundamentals of Irony 102 here at the KisP Institute for Advanced Porch Minkee Studies)

These studentinesses who have not yet taken a course want to be the deciders of what that course’s content should be (a la the late ’60s). It’s as if they already knew the meat of the subject they have yet to study as well as the salient arguments for and against each option which they haven’t studied yet.
Well, either that, or they’re pre-twist/cram/deforming reality through The Template™ in order to make it consistent with The Narrative™, following the orders of some alleged grown-up (probably a Marxist: i.e. one who believes the writings of that incompetent historian, inane economist, and back-stabbing leech).
You know … pullin’ it out’a their ignorant patoots.

Waitin’ for engineering students to demand “Linear solutions for non-linear stochastic matrix calculus!” after which, airplanes plummet from the sky’n stuff like that.

This is why are children’s schools are a joke. 3 R’s? not unless you count Rodriguez. (q)Why would they be outraged over it being made elective, (a) Because they want to dictate (Indoctrinate) children.

Oh, the bizarre spectacle of a civilization that allows vandals to “take charge” by *chaining themselves together in public*.

Such people are rightly a figure of scorn, to be taunted or ignored.

    Chained themselves together?
    How convenient!

I was about to say, haven’t they already crossed that particular line? What, do they have to stand up in the middle of a public square in a “los zetas” t-shirt and start hosing down honkies with an AK before we get the friggin’ message?

    1. Make sure that the chains are tightly wrapped and cannot be removed.
    2. Ignore them for the rest of the meeting.
    3. Turn off the lights and leave them there.
    4. They will be a smelly mess by morning.

    I agree with Old Man….
How many students were there vs how many students are in the schools represented by the board…….most kids just want to go to school to learn…..but we don’t teach them what they need…..we allow them to be bullied and support the bully tactics then decry bullying…….we tell them to tel the truth while we lie to them with textbooks that are vicious lies……
Lock them in…turn off the AC…..don’t allow them access to any services….see just how committed they are…..and whats with this asshole who thinks this is apartheid…….he must have gone through the ethnic studies program there…..

You can’t just leave ‘em chained up like that.
They probably have a key or combination to the lock.
No, you need to weld the lock shut.
Thennnnn you can leave ‘em chained up like that.
I think of it as a test of commitment.

The school board should have adjourned immediately. Then closed the building, locked the door, shut off A/C, water, electricity, …

The only way to deal with a bully is a good hard smackdown right off the bat (metaphorically speaking, of course).

They should have called ICE… Most of them would have run as soon as they heard the agents were in the building…
