guess who’s coming for tonight’s food it’s what’s for dinner!

My long time good friend Ragin’ Dave is back in SondraKistan for a conference and is on his way over for some good old fashioned Pacific Northwest grub…

    Missy, that reminds me.
I sent you my adoption papers months ago,
but I haven’t gotten ‘em back.
No hurry, but I’m gettin’ hungry.

Just make sure JR locks the witch hazel away before you start cooking.

Love your food pics Sondra – they remind me of old still life paintings. No glitz or glitter, and something about the color and textures pulls me to them, even if I know full well I don’t like the particular food pictured.

I would be jealous but I found the key to rib-eye nirvana tonight. The duck with chili plum sauce is still on the grill and I don’t think I can even enjoy it.

OMG. That is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more garlic than I’ve eaten in my lifetime. [If ya don't like the taste of the clams -- which I can surely understand, believe you me -- don't eat the damthings.]

Yeah, Dick — you’re right. There is something very appealing about the SK What’s for Dinner™ food pix.

kinlaw, yep.JR and I surmised they’re a glorified Henry Weinhard’s but not quite a Pyramid. Not bad…I don’t drink but we used an IPA for the clams and it was awesomely pungent.

You’re all welcome any time for a meal…I take special requests ( this happened to be Dave’s….but I made him cook :)

“Steamahs” is one of the few things I miss from growing up in the northeast.
No clams just oysters down here.
