Republican compromise is what’s gotten us into this mess in the first place. That the left wails “they did it too” proves that they acknowledge this.

Bush’s abysmal approval ratings at the end of his presidency shows that we conservatives didn’t approve of it then either.

    Yeah, but Dubya actually tried to fix things before the wheels fell off; the Dem-controlled Congress just wouldn’t let him.

    He didn’t wrap the economy in a tangled tapestry of knots and bitter ends and then let indigents and cronies and welfare parasites suck the marrow out of its bones.

    At this point, my idea of “compromise” is to march on Washington with a pitchfork or a torch, but not both.

    Another possibly useful term not being tossed about is “Spending Freeze”.

    Like taking your foot off the accelerator but not quite hitting the brake pedal yet.
