Well, okay, it’s actually the UK that’s dyin’, but you get the idea.
Teachers should censor the toy box to replace witches’ black hats with a pink ones and dress fairies in darker shades, according to a consultant who has issued advice to local authorities.
From the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz to Meg, the good witch from the Meg and Mog children’s books, witches have always dressed in black. But their traditional attire has now come in for criticism from equality experts who claim it could send a negative message to toddlers in nursery and lead to racism. Instead, teachers should censor the toy box and replace the pointy black hat with a pink one, while dressing fairies, generally resplendent in pale pastels, in darker shades.
So, making kids grow up to believe pink is evil and denying the good in gay attire seems a bit short-sighted.
(What? Well, yeah, all PCism is friggin’ short-sighted.)
Another staple of the classroom – white paper – has also been questioned by Anne O’Connor, an early years consultant who advises local authorities on equality and diversity. Children should be provided with paper other than white to drawn on and paints and crayons should come in “the full range of flesh tones”, reflecting the diversity of the human race, according to the former teacher.
Y’mean like the multi-colored construction paper I lived on as a kid?
Finally, staff should be prepared to be economical with the truth when asked by pupils what their favourite colour is and, in the interests of good race relations, answer “black” or “brown”. [more]
Yes, not only censor but friggin’ lie to the accursed bourgeois spawn children of the masses whose minds are not capable of correct thought without the guidance of the certifiably insane pompous, officious, and arrogant enlightened class (i.e. tedious, predictable jackasses).

This ‘creeping incrementalism’ isn’t creeping anymore. Its just balling over and taking over. Period. To say black is evil and white is good for the purpose of any of these stories–as we well know–means acknowledging good and evil a/k/a God and Satan. And we just can’t be talking about God because that would mean that these evil libbers would be exposed and pint, game set. God has to be, well, like Israel: wiped off the map.
As to this immediate story I hope England gets their f88king asses handed to them and come crying “:Help us! Help us! We were wrong. Help us!”
Sure England. First thing we’re going to do in 2013 is have Winston back over to the White House. And then we’l move along from there.
If they didn’t have to pay all of all those consultants they could actually afford to something to help teach the kids by, like I don’t know, hire some teachers
It all starts with appeasement.
That’s what my friend from Germany tells me.
Of course, having never learned any science, or at least having abandoned any they did learn, none of these mooks realize that combining all the colours of the rainbow results in – white!
And that black is the absence of light, and thus the absence of colour.
Black = darkness (ie night) = predators prowling = danger = evil.
Cavemen could figure it out – it takes a PhD to not be able to see it.
The rainbow is the symbol of God’s promise to Noah that He would never again flood the world.
It is strangely odd that it is now used by a group that defies God and claims that He does not exist.
Teachers, lie to your students. It’ll be OK, they’re just little
whiteblack or brown lies.Your link to the article is borked – starts urhttp etc
Thanks, Garth. Fixed.
What are these people *doing*?!?! THERE ARE DITCHES WAITING TO BE DUG!
One can only hope that regardless of the idiocy being pushed upon these children, that the parents buck the system and tell them that what the school is teaching is bunk.
Heaven knows I did my share of it when my kiddoes were in school.
And of course they say “fairies”…
“be economical with the truth”
What a lovely phrase…
^ Well, Obama seems to adhere to that principle.
economical with the truth
Lenin would love that.
If I ever had the chance, I would not be economical about laying on punishment for the vileness of that thought.
