If they had been there an hour earlier, they’d have seen them pour unicorn farts in the tank.

More Solar /wind power tax payers fiasco; In Spain one Solar company was running diesel generators to power spot lights on their solar panels to generate tax payer subsidized “Green” energy- they were making a profit…How many of these tax payer subsidized green energy rip offs will it take before we bring an end to it all

The solar array charges the battery that starts the generator that illuminates the sign.

Like the commercial on TV for the solar powered gen. They was like power outages disasters… They actually showed it bring the lights back on, really? If you need lights on solar panels will not work at night. I know than some people will charge batters with them but a emergency generator is normally only deployed when needed. UGH, try telling the greenys that the wind dose not always blow and the sun dose not always shine and they look at you like a half wit dog looks at someone trying to explain Einstein’s theory of relativity.

It looks like a sign to me.

A sign of their failure to be practical and economical.

This is an annual boondoggle. At least they’ve moved it off of the National Mall. When I rode past last week I counted seven full sized cranes doing the set-up and two many tractor trailers lined up to count.

I wonder what the carbon footprint of this nonsense is?

Oh yea, and each group got $100,000 from the taxpayers to build their displays.
