WTH is this?!?

is there a Point?

Some Wack Job[s] is/are setting car fires across LA/Hollywood. But they’re not just setting fire to random Hondas parked on the street like Fwentch Utes. They’re setting fire to cars in apartment carports with apartments above them.

A total of 55 fires are under investigation.

…45 occurred in the Los Angeles area, another nine were in West Hollywood, and one was in Burbank [always the also-ran]

…As of 5:15 a.m., the corner of Sunset and Fairfax was blocked off, with numerous police and fire vehicles parked there. It’s unclear whether there had been a fire nearby.

…[Monday,] Eleven fires were reported in two hours, beginning at 1:30 a.m.

…A “person of interest” was detained Monday morning …

…The LAPD asked residents to leave porch and carport lights on at night and make sure cars are locked.

Little unclear as to how lockin’ your car prevents it from gettin’ torched, but hey, they’re the experts.

Amateurs. The French ‘utes’ set fire to something like 6,000-7,000 French cars in a single night. Caused almost $400 bucks worth of damage.

So this is what America has come to? Even the French are kicking our asses?

We really need to get our act together. This is embarrassing.

Off topic, but Newt’s complaining he’s been “Romney-boated”.

Is he saying the complaints against him are true or that the swift-boaters for truth were lying?

Los Angeles County recently formed a Tea Party, honchoed by a neat, clear-headed Black American patriot. Amazing on both counts…….

Any bets on how many days hours before some mfcs fishwrapper runs a story about the impossibility possibility that the perps are Tea Partiers, based on *solid evidence* that the Tea Party honcho smokes Marlboro 100s……?

A person of interest! They must have found Dos Equis bottles at the scenes.

Well, I guess that wouldn’t mean a whole lot in L.A.

Also OT, but The Undefeated, a fair and informative movie about Sarah Palin is now available for free streaming on Netflix. Close this interstitial and go watch it NOW!

Try not to shoot your TV. It’s not the TV’s fault.

I like everything about her except her speaking voice. It’s a little squeaky for my tastes and get’s on my nerves after a few sentences. She should hire , oh say, Angie Dickenson as her vocal coach.

    Unstoppable after that.

My other suspicion: It is the members of the Kali CARB Board (…teh nimnoes who are driving diesel fuel prices through the fucking roof…) Since they are all RATz, it fits their political profile! Reason: a Judge just ruled that their plan is unconstitutional!!!!!!!

I am starting to think it might be an “Occupy idiot”.
I mean, those cars are occupying space and those poor people in the apartments have a roof over their heads…
    Just sayin’…

Officials speaking on condition of anonymity said he appears to have been battling the U.S. government over the immigration status of a relative, but they added that they don’t know if this played any role in the case. The Los Angeles Police Department is in communication with federal immigration officials concerning the dispute, law enforcement sources said.

I had some fun with this at work today. We’ve got a couple of occuwannabe/mindless lefties, but they need the job more than they need to be protesting. Thus I talked about this with them. They hadn’t heard anything more than the description of the d-bag in question – white guy, pony tail, receding hairline – so when I told them that the guy is in custody and motivated by anger over the pending deportation of his mother, they both looked confused and asked (separately, mind you), “Wait, isn’t it a white guy?”

“Yup. A German National, you RAAAAACIST!!!1!”

Here in Texas you can SHOOT arsonist legally if caught about to set them.

§ 9.42. DEADLY FORCE TO PROTECT PROPERTY.

A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or tangible, movable property:
    (2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the
    deadly force is immediately necessary:
    (A) to prevent the other’s imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the
nighttime, or criminal mischief during the nighttime.

But in good old California they would arrest the defender and not the arsonist.
