there’s a word for Sunday’s sermons

…senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett visited Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta to give a political speech, in support of her boss (Barack Obama) and congressional Democrats

“We all sleep a little better at night knowing Osama Bin Laden and his lieutenants are not plotting a terrorist attack against the United States,” she said, eliciting applause from the crowd.

There was also a brief jab at Republicans.

“Teachers, and firefighters, and policemen, whose jobs are now in jeopardy because congress, well let me be specific, because the Republicans in congress …”
Before she could finish her sentence, people in the congregation were laughing, and applauding.

At the end of Sunday’s sermon, after Jarrett had delivered her remarks to the congregation, the church held a voter registration drive.

See, this is why the media freaks out over Tim Tebow, but is comfortable in the knowledge that Jarrett and the Obamas are only using the cover of feigned Christianity for their political agenda.

Is she going to be the new Jeremiah Wright?

“At the end of Sunday’s sermon, …, the church held a voter registration drive.”

See what I mean about the Left having the social networking thing sewed up?

Meanwhile, our candidates are ripping each other to shreds, while making nice-nice with Obama.

^ Yep. If only “our” candidates would go after them with 1/2 as much fervor as they go after each other………

But then again, the left just covers their ears and “la la laaaas”…

Sounds like politickin’ from the pulpit. So much for “separation of church and …blah blah…”
How about Ebenezer’s tax exempt status?
BTW, J is high on my “flog before hang” list as an enemy of the Republic and absentee slum landlord.

Can anyone think of a time when a conservative used the pulpit to politic from, instead of preaching the Word, like you’re supposed to? I Can’t. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah, I was thinkin’ about how long it would take the IRS to yank the church’s tax exemption.

Dang! Blew out an ear drum trying to stifle a guffaw, there.
