Yesterday they announced the launch: <a href="http://www.kcna.co.jp/index-e.htm" rel="nofollow">Space Experts, Media Persons Visit General Satellite Control and Command Center</a> "Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- Experts on space science and technology and media persons from different countries Wednesday visited the General Satellite Control and Command Center in Pyongyang in the run-up to the DPRK's launch of the first working satellite." That's Kwangmyŏngsŏng 2. "They heard with keen attention that general secretary Kim Jong Il visited the modern Center on April 5, 2009 after its construction and observed the liftoff of Kwangmyongsong-2." That one "failed to reach orbit". In other news, it's the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kim Il Sung.
