It seems like everything is so on edge that it makes coffee nervous. A lot of it has to do with the upcoming election and the wholesale fear of losing the republic to the commie minions of the left.
It’s like everything is a hand grenade with the pin halfway out.

I was far less edgy when W as in. After these last 3.5 years I hope America has finally gotten smart to the damn demon-crats and anyone connected with Barry. It has been ugly.

“Edgy will keep you thin and alert… so there’s that.” – so will meth. A lot of so-called “edgy” stuff is “edgy” as “cranky after being up for three straight nights drinking cup after cup of strong, black coffee”.
“Edgy” and “outrageous” is sooooooo boring these days.
Yanno, when one is working animals – getting ‘em onto a trailer or thru a chute or something – some animals work best when ya keep ‘em calm. A little pressure from behind, an open way ahead – they go. Things work.
Push ‘em too hard, they lose their concentration, get nervous, spin around, shoot off in all directions, get stubborn… A few might even push back.
Other animals work better when ya get ‘em a little nerved up. It makes ‘em stick together in a clump. Then ya can push the clump where ya want it without having one or two take off and head for the hills.
Even then, too much pressure and they suddenly break – every one of ‘em heading in a different direction, each running head-long for what they think of as a ‘safe’ place. ‘Course they’re not thinking too clearly and some might even run right over the top of ya. One or two might even attack ya to save the others.
Takes a long time to get ‘em settled down after that…

Personally, I have been edgy for the last 3 + years and it is NOT getting better.
I try to keep everything edgy and I’m constantly looking for new ways to keep things edgy.
It started with my folding buck when I was 11. When I tried wood carving a few years later I learned a lot of nifty ways to keep all different kinds of edgy. Today my kitchen knives are all edgy, and so are pretty much all of my tools. BTW, not all tools should be razor edgy, but the proper edgy, even

Only things I really like edgey and outrageous any more is my Lovely Lady’s under garments.
Edgy (blank) can be good, but 99% of the time Edgy replace (blank) and you end up with something that is no longer (blank) an all.
Example: Was humor, replace with edgy humor but without humor, so your humor is now edgy but not funny.
Some people say that’s what happened not just to one major farkup of a videogame recently, but several. People tried to be artsy and edgy and the audience said “WTF happened to the game part?”
Obviously the same happened so much with TV I don’t even have cable or an antenna anymore. I don’t even have a TV anymore.
