WTH is this?

translation plz

“The timing, operational decision making and control are in Admiral McRaven’s hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration. The direction is to go in and get bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out.”

Is that really “a responsibility-escape clause”?

Does that mean there’s a different meaning from the customary for the P in POTUS?

Well I think so, but then I never felt a tingle in my leg when I heard this vacuous clothes horse speak.

Of course we are creating a nation of risk adverse other-meaning-Ps, so nothing to be shocked at there. A problem is that this mental disease has infected the military command structure, which is to be expected when the civilian overlords have a plague of it. The One has made this worse, but it was already going on long before. In many ways BHO is just a poster child for what’s becoming wrong with our society.

Well he’s only got these two things that he thinks will sell with the general public (other, of course, than the Republican War on Women and the Democratic War on Wealth) so he’s going to beat these two drums like a speed-freaked hippie with bongo drums.

I’m thinking of ignoring the radio, TV, newsprint, magazines, and Internet until after the elections.

At least somebody had the brains not to tell “our friends” the Pakis it was going to happen. My guess is Adm. “McLovin”, he had op control.

Bets on whether “Sheriff Joe” wanted to give them a nice, long warning time?

For ignorant, childish, small men boys, “responsibility” or “ownership” have too many syllables to be in their vocabulary.

I have it on good authority that the order for the seals to take the shot on the pirates was a decision made by the naval commander on scene over the desire of obama to first speak to the pirates personally.

He has yet to make a gutsy decision.

If I scratch my balls, just the right way, my cats will attack and kill whatever my other hand is pointing at. It’s an awesome responsibility.

Too bad about that one new mailman.

P.S. It’s usually the Left, but I’m trying to branch-out. To be fair.

ColJ (5): But there are still all those fucking bumper stickers……

You mean the ones that say (in different words) “I’m a total moron because I actually believe that a serious issue can be addressed in the space available on a bumper sticker?”

I have a kind of automatic filter in place for bumper stickers which screens out all political commentary while scanning for and admitting the occasional funny one.
