I’ve got a question here, and it’s a genuine question; I don’t intend it as a back-door editorial:
How do conservative women generally react to being called “babes?”
(yeah, I know, context may matter, but work with me here)

The “babes” thing is just Rush’s way of tweaking the PCs & feminazis.

I work in an aluminum mill – where there are ‘many’ men to 1 woman. I’m the Scheduler, so I have some clout – well, maybe a little! I am good at “real world” things and understand very well how to make our product. I find it’s easier to work with the men if I have a half teasing flirtatious relationship with them. It’s like the oil needed for the machinery to work right.
I respect their expertise and bow to their experience, they respect my connections to the Customer (= timing), and we flirt like crazy and “get ‘er done” – and have fun at the same time. I think the guys are “awesome”, and I let them know it. It works.
