A passenger was thrown off a Brazilian airline by a female pilot because he was making sexist comments about women flying planes. Trip Airlines said in a statement that the pilot ejected the man before take-off as he made loud, sexist comments upon learning the pilot was a woman.
He reportedly shouted: “Someone should have told me the captain was a woman.
“I’m not flying with a female at the controls”…
And so he didn’t…

The pilot’s in charge. It’s not your plane, it’s theirs.
Frankly I don’t want to be on a plane where the pilot’s *not* in charge.
Quite ladylike. He stated a preference and she gave it to him.
Better than letting him off half way through the trip.
Heh, kicked off by a girl!
Many years ago when Archie Bunker was the young Mr.’s idol we were checking in at the air port when the female UPS driver was making a delivery and he was shocked that there were female UPS drivers– as we’re boarding the plane he noticed we had a female captain-:)))– he had to admit it was the best flight and landing he’d ever had— I had a hard time wiping the smile off my face.
Better thrown down the stairs than out the door on takeoff.
“Your request is granted.”
The danger of flying cattle-car class on a *crowd killer* is not the sex of the
pilot(s). Rather, it is any aircraft that is flown by a “Fucking committee!”

Gyrene fighter pilot w 7,500 hrs total time in fighters, WHICH equals Pilot in Command time. [...reputation for being *broad* minded / not no errorism...]
Good for her! I’m wondering if our Maria Edi will comment?
The name Belo Horizonte is familiar to me but I’ve forgotten
where is is in Brazil. Do’h, just googled it as north northwest
of Rio. Also googled Trip Airlines. An impressive little airline
with 68+ aircraft & over 500 employees.
Also just discover that Brazil Carnival just started, so we
may not be hearing from Maria for a while.
