If all the people in developed countries stopped using power tools and such their calorie requirements would double–causing a food shortage and rising costs of survival. If you don’t drive but walk to the market, and you have to buy more food because you’re burning calories like a peasant laborer, you won’t have to buy gas but you’ll be making it harder on the 3d world.

Yeah, but fat people die earlier, so their consumption cycle is shorter. Furthermore, people who are morbidly obese are less mobile and don’t travel as much, so there’s that. It’s self-limiting, really.

Me, I’m a chubby-chub-chub and I SO want to join all the others in jumping and tipping the earth off its axis. ;)

Well as the populations become heavier they stay home more rather than visiting the forests and other rural/wilderness areas, and since the un types want to push everyone to the cities, I see the possibility that the planet will be placed out of balance and topple to a pole shift with massive climate change, increased volcanic activity, sea level slosh, dogs and cats living together, the oakland raiders move to olympia.

Or we just make a habit of treating them to much deserved ridicule.

In the growing season there are lots of places where one can buy fresh vegetables and fruits/nuts along many roadsides.
