    Orgasmic

or the feeling right after holding back a pee for an hour and a half and finally letting go.

What’s your favorite mood or state of being?

Pissed-off and ready to rock and roll*.

*I can’t help it. It’s just this thing.

Righteously indignant resulting from being absolutely correct while watching my contradictor slowly squirm and morph into a putrescent pool of slime to vanish into a sewer.

Other than that, waking up knowing that I am still bipedal, self-sufficient, not in debt, and establishing a new personal best for consecutive days breathing without assistance and married to the same magnificent woman I hooked up with in 1961.

That window needs a crystal to reflect beautiful rainbow colors thru out the room– along with the feets–or what evah happens to be the mood of the day for what gets photographed in the window — hmmmm what could that be???

I like optimistic which is looking forward but secure implies things accomplished which can be a solid springboard for adventuresome, optimistic, creative and carefree, among others. . .

    Hey, is everybody still online?

Like the ones who got knocked off could read the question or answer. . .

I’m guessing this crew is in good shape.

    Spent.

The kind of feeling one gets after a day of very, very hard physical labor or a grueling athletic competition.

My mood is never higher than when I reflect upon the feeling or exaltation I and my wingmen had when debriefing an air combat training mission where none of us were targeted and our opponents all were!

The best state of being is “serenity”. I pay careful attention to it in these trying times. I can not achieve it from others; it is me talking to me……
I do, however, try to endorse it to my beloved friends as a way to mitigate their latest problems and/or issues.

Is “rolling over and going back to sleep on a Saturday morning” a mood?

Would passive mode be a mood? Like when I’m sitting on the memory porch at the camp in the woods with a bid glass of ice filled with a mood enhancer? Would that be a mood?

My ticket for entrance into an alternate state of mind, an escape from frustration and disgust to glee and vindication, is conjuring up an image of the Kenyan-in-Chief being completely dehydrated and the dust of his remains being scattered from Nairobi to Mecca.

‘Course that might be more of an attitude than a mood.

To sleep, perchance to dream. . . . . I mean, like . . . no friggin way Biden wins in November, right? And we’d be better off with an unindicted felon such as Shrillary than a complete red-shirt rookie with a hood mentality.

I’m gonna go with my first thought… Buck Owens and “Rolling in my sweet Baby’s arms”…..

Other than that…. I’m with Hog.

Physically tired after completing an onerous home maintenance job that I have just scratched off my “to do” list. It takes a weight off my mind and frees me up to go on to the next worry.

My favorite mood over the last few years is similiar
to what PeggyU mentioned. Getting tasks & projects
deleted from my ‘TODO’ lists, or voluminous files on
my ‘puter! Also getting calls from special friends!

However, the bestest moods are after I make some
real progress with my C-PTSD therapy. It’s starting
to give me confidence I’ve never had in my life. This
is making it possible to have closer & longer lasting
relationships with the special peeps in my life!

Speaking of moods I found this on the intartoobz by
the title, then I thought the setting had some possible
similarities to the “Asylum” & the affective moods!

    Favorite mood?

More than one; it’s a kalidescope of various things, that in most any combination, transport me to a fine and warm place in my mind.

The zen of having a shot break cleanly.

Covering the monthly nut, from previous month’s incomes.

Completing a demanding project which required both physical work, and Michelangelo-worthy craftsmanship.

Cooking and serving a fantastically delicious meal, featuring game or fish which I’ve personally taken and prepared.

And one of my favorite “just trippin” things…. about 3/4 lit on sippin’ whiskey, and “Dark Side of the Moon” (Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs 24k gold CD), playing on the uber-stereo. Gotta be alone for that ride, but it’s mellow and takes me way back.

Best of all. Quiet time with my lovely Iris. Six years and still going…. she hasn’t killed me (yet!).

Runner up though, is time here on the porch. Indeed, it is.

Jim, SND, Galvanston, Taixus, thanks for you inspiring comment!
I am moved by your describing your ‘kalidescope’ & the way you
painted beautiful & dynamic ‘word pictures’.
I also really enjoyed the way you added depth, breath & history
to your big contextual ‘mood’, that encompassed the individual
items of mood, that were also dynamic & 3rd dimensional.
I’d like to use your comment for inspiration from time to time.
I also concur with your acknowledgment of ‘da Porch’!

I achieved that “spent” nirvana last night, combining both physical work and athletic activity.
After two days of digging in rock-hard, sun-baked clay, I decided I needed a hard trail ride last night to cap things off and clear my head.
Toes, arches, calves, hamstrings, knees, lower back, traps, forearms, and hands ache tremendously…but I feel great.
