Qualifications for the Office of President
US Constitution, Article II, Section 1
No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.
Congressional Democrats are using the legislative process to pressure Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to release more tax returns and information about his investments in offshore accounts.
The push on the Hill represented a full scale legislative assault on Romney over the tax issue, as Democrats sense they may be getting traction over Romney’s refusal to release more than two years of tax information…
…While we’re at it, let’s make it a requirement for President and all positions in Congress to release a valid birth certificate, all college transcripts, selective service registration, military records, results of a full security clearance background investigation, results of a drug test, and the results of a standard lifestyle and/or counter-intelligence polygraph – all pretty standard for many applicants to military, government, and government contractor jobs requiring a high level security clearance…

Sounds good to me! Here in Texas at least anyone who works for the state does have their salaries posted online by the state government.
So yea, I think every one of them should be required to do all that, after all WE PAY THEIR SALARIES!!!
I think this will backfire on Captain Bullshit. After the very favorable response to Romney’s red meat speech on Dear Leader’s dissing of American work ethic, I think Romney will sharpen the knives and start carving up Uhbama.
This “release the records” demand is made to order for a challenge:
“I’ll release 10 years of my taxes when you release your passport data, social security application, oath of allegiance for when you returned from Indonesian citizenship to the United States, college application and college grade records, Mr. Precedent.
My team is ready and we’re waiting, Mr. Precedent.”
Ditto^^^^^^^
I can’t take this shit anymore anymore anymore.
There should be only one question:
Can any prospective candidate pass a “Yankee White” security screening?
See: this
Yup, the moment you start talking about making them reveal all their own backgrounds, dirty laundry and ESPECIALLY the drug tests, the Dems will shut up and cower back in their offices.
Ditto on the anymore— can’t even listen to the news anymore– I’ve never heard such stupid reporters in my life– E.F.D. and no one does a damn thing about it. All we keep hearing is they are even in the polls. Our vote is our only defense?? How the hell does that help us when they’ve invaded that privilege and turned it into a scam? They’ve invaded the right party because of course it’s for the poor.
“… a full security clearance background investigation,…”
At least half the House and Senate would never be able to get even a Confidential clearance, if they worked in real life. Most likely, our Glorious Leader has a Top Secret Platinum clearance.
That’s scary.
