Speaking of “You Didn’t Build That!”

“it must be because I was just so smart”

So, what was the point of the *duhfluffle* [like a *kerfluffle* only dumber] about Mitt’s tenure at Bain, again? [cuz now the squabble is over whether Mitt ought/must to release a decade's worth of tax returns to prove his "innocence" of ....something: while No One has ever seen *someone's* college application/records, Social Security application, passport... BTNIN]

The idea, if I recall, was to prove Mitt’s company did some *cue evil Musak* Outsourcing.

hm…

In his most recent financial disclosure from 2011, Obama and his wife reported having between $200,000 and $450,000 in the Vanguard 500 Index Fund… the fund’s biggest holding was 8,272,039 shares of Apple Inc., then valued at $3.2 billion… Almost all of the 70 million iPhones, 30 million iPads and 59 million other products Apple sold last year were manufactured overseas

Also in the portfolio, GE. GE’s CEO, Jeffrey Immelt is an OboboPal™ and is chairman of his “Economic Advisors.” “G.E. became the first U.S. company to outsource software work to India.” IBM: “Foreign workers accounted for 71%” of IBM employees.

Apple built a new state-of-the-art computerized factory in ca in the ’80s found it to expensive to operate it there and closed it a year later. They tried again in Colorado and again sold the plant. They built factories in Ireland and other places but have found it better to let others do most of the manufacturing since.

“Latino” is somebody from Latin America

“Hispanic” is a larger group, they speak espanish

    “Cubano, Mehicano, etc” – country-based

And no, “spic” is not the other side of “span”, sorry…

    Meh, non-starter there.

I don’t know about 2011, but right now Vanguard 500′s total value is 111 Billion dollars, of which 4.37% is AAPL, according to Yahoo Finance.

“They owned some stock in a fund that has 4.7% of its holdings in a staggeringly successful American company that makes stuff overseas and also employs a zillion people domestically at good wages” just isn’t very effective as an attack.

(“It attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index” … I mean, it’s an INDEX FUND.

Apple’s the best deal on the S&P 500 index, so naturally the index fund tracking it has a lot of Apple.

To act like that’s an issue is to engage in economic illiteracy normally associated with Democrat activists.)

There are far more effective and substantive attacks on the President.

Heh, can’t really follow Lloyd’s comment, but, the Bain bs was a non-starter for the dhimmis.

In fact, it hurt the obumbler.

I am not expecting the tax return crud to be any different.

I one upped’im. I outsourced myself and we don’t even HAVE a road, unless you refer to the caribou carved (Water Buffalo) hard pan from draggin sleds back and forth for years.

NO government help, though there are a couple friends who’ve kept me alive while I’ve been building my base. We may have good news to report in about a month and oddly enough, our company will be helping to build government buildings!

Prayers and Pizzas are always welcome brothers and sisters!
