The support that is being shown to CFL has been astronomical and the touted, national eat at CFL day to show your support is actually tomorrow.
That the idiots in Chicago would turn away any business wanting to expand in this economy, is simply ridiculous.
That they turn away a privately owned business because it stands on *gasp* Christian principles and not on the PC written rule, in my book is downright criminal. The lines are being drawn.
BTW, love the lion roaring pic.
The people are speaking, so STFU RAHM!

If I was smart, I’d have bought some stock right after the announcement….if I had enough money to buy stock.

Oh well. So much for stock and money….and smarts.

Lion = perfect as MiT noted. The Left have been poking the sleeping lion with a stick harder and harder for years, and now I hope at long last the lions all over the country are awakening and will maul those sonsabitches without mercy.

Just make sure you keep the Bible and the Constitution well separated, or the ACLU will be on your ass like white on rice…

Does any place in Chicago sell lobster? The same place that says [male] homosexuality is an abomination says the same anout eating sea-bottom feeders, especially those with exoskeletons such as lobsters. Yes, Leviticus has a “Ten Commandments” different from the two books that list the ones we know.

Too, the Bible says slavery is OK as long as none of your slaves are related to you. Well, of your “tribe” – one of the twelve.

Well, I’m not planning to enslave any of my Cherokee and/or Creek ancestors, so I guess I’m all right on that one, assuming I can count them as my tribes. I’m pretty sure Elizabeth Warren isn’t really a genuine Cherokee, so if I put her to work down on my plantation, I hope it’s not gonna raise any eyebrows here on the porch.

(Pleeezzzeeee God, don’t let her wind up in the United States Senate. We already have Al Franken to humiliate us. Surely that is enough chastisement for whatever sins the nation has committed.)

By the way, pretty much nobody except maybe some really, really orthodox Jews keep most of “The Ten Commandments” even most of the time. I’d argue that even the best biblical scholars don’t really know what some of them even mean (no I don’t know either), that it’s hard to keep commandments one doesn’t understand, and that what God wants is for us to do the best we can. Therefore, I am suspicious when I encounter anybody who claims with much fervor that they are dedicated to “Keeping the Ten Commandments.”

oops… how did I wind up going off on that? Oh well.

Ah yes, I will plan for lunch or at least dinner at Chick-Fil-A tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder Melissa.

I’m really bored with diode tolerance–that only goes one way.
We must tolerate every flipping variation of ‘diversity’ while these groups deny that same courteous tolerance to the rest of us.
Time for the courtesy to be set aside and respond in kind. If it means pooling some of our funds to tie up these folks in court and waste their resources, so be it. If it means quietly turning our backs and walking away when some person bent on forcing their flavor of divisiveness on us, I’m good with it.

We’re here and have been exceedingly accepting and tolerant of a great many things for a long time, get used to it and try getting along for a change. Just as the obamanation is coming to an end, public patience with these annoyingly militant groups in our midst may wear thin as well.

JR always reminds his liberal acquaintances who go off on “conservative intolerance” like they do how WE are the ones who have to learn to better tolerate the diversity of others.

    They don’t often react right away but as… it…. sinks…. in……. is ………….always kinda fun….

Like eat at Chick Fil A and boycott Ben & Jerry’s? Buy Ford, not Government Motors? Watch Fox, not CNN – oh sorry, most already do that, but y’all get the picture/
I’ve a feeling the very middle class that Uhbama & Co. are trying to do away with carry most of the purchasing weight in this country..
Mebbe we ought to throw our weight around before it’s gone.

“…and I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about.” Dan Cathy

What the preachers should have been preaching for the lst 30 years, but, noooooooooooooo. And those little demons just been beating the same drums over and over year after year until the ‘now’ generation has articles like this to ponder.
