   Staple the skin to an old leather belt. DO NOT use paperclips; waaay to dangerous; jist sayin……..

   I’ve had good luck with homemade tanning oil:

   1 Part formaldehyde, 4 parts rubbing alcohol, 8 parts glycerine. Once the pinned down skin has dried overnight, a generous ‘painting’ of the exposed hide works, let it soak/ dry overnight angain, dab it dry, turn it over and repeat…. let that dry/ soak, then rub off excess with a lint free towel, and it’s ready for forming.

   Looks like a fair size Western D-Back?

    If you make one out of garter snake skins, would it be a garter belt?

    Ooh … a corn snake would make a pretty belt … or a coral snake, or even a king snake.
