It’s amazing (though not surprising) that Ramirez can dissect this issue in a one-panel cartoon more thoroughly than all of the mainstream media sources.

The ‘toon points out one thing other sources never mention.
1993 – Bain invests $100M
1994 (one year later) – GST revenues of $1B (nice ROI) and the company is an industry leader in steel rods and cooking along nicely and then …
1997 (three years later) – SHAZAM – a labour strike
2001 ( four years later) – bankrupt
Well done to the union!! (Of which poor Mr Soptic is an enthusiastic member of course…)

Doug, this is a terrific graphic, both in the visual and in fact presentation.
There’s something broken with the link though….

What Stilton (1), said, dubble!
LOTF (2), Interesting that we have to read a ‘toon to find out the
timeline & truth about GST.
I don’t think the dumbocraps & Obamanauts will read byond the
1st 5 arrow points on the horns. When they get to the word ‘Bain’
They’ll instantly avoid any more & go look for something about
how wunnerful their ‘savior’ is!
