Because I can.

~ vid ~

Because I still can, that is, and still want to.
Every day and every night (it’s lighted).
Might put one up in the back yard, too, so it can be seen by the old vets playin’ the third fairway.
Yep, might just do that this afternoon.
Just happen to have a spare one lyin’ around. (BTF)

    Thanks Doug,

Might have to install a spotlight. We fly ‘er in good weather in the summer, but in the winter we leave before it’s light and get back after dark, so it only flies on weekends. We’re too far from the road for anybody to see it anyway, but I know it’s there and the kids know why it’s there.

    Thanks for the video,

I have an American flag on one side of the front porch and a red Marine Corps flag on the other side of the Porch. Sometimes kids come by and ask about the Marine flag. I explain what it is and stands for. (…then for humor, I point out that it is a warning for potential home thieves that if they break in, they won`t be *breaking* out!…) One preteen boy blurted, “Wow, where can I get one?” I replied, “Easy, get good grades in school and keep yourself in good physical shape. Then bring you mom and dad with you and come back and see me. If your mom is like my mom was, she will scream, “Oh my God, you will get bayonetted to death!!!!!”

    The kid`s reponse was, “KEWL…….!”

    ^^ There you go^^
Flags here along with almost everyone in our complex. If they were told they couldn’t fly one they wouldn’t have any renters.
Flags at our camp in the woods. Flags at the graves of veteran family members.

    LOL w/ Col. Jerry, Sir!

I have to look at teh covens, er, covenents & decrees of my complex to see if it is allowed. I haven’t seen any in the 12 years I’ve been here and they are sue happy like an environmental group.

I just put the spare tire cover on the FJ so I can display stickers for November.
