I’ll wait for it to be on Netflix.
If it gets near me I will. Might take a bit to make it to our theater.
What? Of COURSE I’ll be armed.
Probably.
My Tea Party president & his wife Elaine saw it here in Grass Valley, CA. They said it is a “must see” movie that trashed OBoBo et al………………Said theater owners down here are getting HUUUGGGGEEEE demands to show it!!!!!!
Told me a little about the movie and I said, “Son of a Bitch, the screenwriters have fucking used all the KisP comments for this flick!!!!!”
If it shows here in the U.P. I’ll go. There are so many mealy mouth libs who live up here and of course our 2 university cities I wonder if it will ever get up here. They’re the ones who should be seeing it.
Dinesh D’Souza’s original book “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” is available, and the movie, from what I hear, follows it quite closely.
You’ll like it.
Wow! It made it to the small town of Salisbury, NC where I live. To those saying they’ll pass or see it on Netflix. You can’t bitch about our side not making movies that take it to the enemy (and they are the enemy) and then not go see them when they do. When our side puts out a movie, it is our duty to support it unless it’s some horrid piece of crap. This is a response to the hollywusses making all those anti-Bush scenes in their movies and Walrus Moore making farenshit 911. If you don’t support them, there is no incentive to make another. It’s like bitching that there are no good movies to take your kids too and then when a rated G movie comes out, not going because it’s a kids movie. Suck it up and support those that support us. Yes, my kids will be at that movie too.
Oh thanks. Now you’ve scared the shit out of me.
So how come I can’t see it on the InnarToobz?!?
Because the people that spent the time and expense to create it want to be compensated for their efforts, would be my guess.
Truly, I’m surprised this was a question, here.
RDRTrash & I are planning to see it sometime this weekend. Luckily for us the closest 2 theaters to us are both airing the movie. My non-political SiL found out about it and is planning on seeing it too.
I saw the movie recently. I didn’t think I’d learn anything new (what with being semi-obsessive on the subject) and I didn’t, but I darn well wanted to show fiscal support for the filmmakers. And I think this was my first trip to a movie theater in at least two years – so it was a decided effort on my part.
Apart from all of that, the movie is very well done and carefully lays out the evidence (the plentiful, overwhelming evidence) that Barack Obama has been steeped in anti-colonialism, socialism, and radical activism his entire life, and his highest goal is “demoting” the United States on the world stage so it cannot continue to damage smaller, weaker, more socialist nations. And I believe every syllable of it.
My one complaint is that Dinesh D’Souza, who is our guide during the film (and wrote the books it was based on) builds his case in such a careful and scholarly way that it feels a bit too clinical and passionless. Then again, that approach makes the film’s content a lot harder to discredit.
I’d say if you get a chance to see it locally, do so to show support for the filmmakers. But if it’s a long drive, then skip the film and send the ticket money to Romney to help him (and us!) get the first anti-American president out of office.
Seriously?
Chicago ‘burbs and Evansville, but nothing in the heartland of IN?
Sheesh, with those choices, I wouldn’t be surprised if Bloomington gets it before the rest of us. (the midwest version of Olympia, Seattle, and SanFran, all rolled into one)
Buzz,
You need to apply the radiation to the place where the cancer is. Heartland of Indiana will vote Romney. It’s the idiot parts of the state that need the education. Bloomington needs it more. Even if it only changes a few, at least it can affect some change.
Dang! It’s all over NC starting tomorrow,
but nothing within an hour’s drive.
Wellp, might be a nice day for a Harley ride. Yep, just might.
I notice that it’s in a couple of the same theaters that showed Atlas Shrugged.
Aye, Doug, and Atlas Shrugged Part two draws nigh.
Showing at 11 theaters in Las Vegas. 5 show times each.
N.O’Really – guess I should have finished my thot:
For those for whom travel to a screening location is inconvenient, allow me to post a succinct summary:
Obama sucks (with proof and evidence).
My theory is that those who think this may be true will see it; those who think it’s “right-wing balderdash”, won’t.
Wollf: Thanks for the book reference. Here it is, with reviews &c:
