Aaaand what sign would one have hung around one’s own neck, hmmmm?
At least a dog has an excuse.
    And “the look.”

First thing that came to mind was “dogs and democrats”.

    Entropy.

Both helpless on their own, needing someone else to take care of them and clean up after them. When they gang together they take from others without leaving the others resources to create more.

What a silly website. Feeding the vanity of the human without fixing the dog problem, just giving an excuse for the damage done with a giggle.

Oh, and hydrogen peroxide, lots of it-cheap and effective.

Tonite– daughter comes over with 12 year old Yorkie Little Miss Missey to watch the football game– she runs thru the house stops in the middle of the living room and p’s. WTF — she’s never done that b/4– wish I would have tho’t of this when she was sitting on my lap with her head down trying to hide from her momma who was cleaning up her mess. No they don’t need to speak our language. It could be because she hates football and was telling us something –we yell– she hides– if we want to get rid of her all we have to do is say Go Pack Go—later she comes out of the bed room with a big toothy grin on her face– is it o.K. to come out now???

Not for a looong time. I have two cats, from the same litter (12 yrs ago) to keep each other company when I’m away. They have had their moments, but nothing like my family and friends who do have dogs.

I finally got my floors stained and epoxied so maintenance is even lower and it’s fun to watch them slide around.Although Spark is still working on removing her epoxy booties after escaping onto the still wet hallway.

I’ve tried to take pictures of the floor but it is so deep with the glossy wet look of the thick topcoat, my camera cannot do it justice. Almost like the floor is flooded with water.

Sounds like a dominance issue. Maybe if JR takes him out to pee and then – with him watching – pees on top of where he peed. Regularly. [It's a guy thing]

[may also be an after dark thing...]

    Claire…totally. it’s what we HIRED ( for PAY ) a dog behaviorist for ( shaddup…I was THAT desperate ).
It’s a fine line between me living my life for…me…and living my life for them. It’s exhausting. I’m gonna make JR pee on his pee and see if that helps…

We also now have NINE dogs in a four ( connected ) house lot area…not even an acre……6 maybe 7 are males.
    That hasn’t helped either.

Cats really deserve to be shamed too, but they just don’t feel the guilt the way dogs do.

My hounds are freaking out with all the boxes and stuff “disappearing” so the piddles are much more frequent, much to my dismay :(

The cats OTOH, are simply determined to get INTO the boxes and shed all over everything…. little twits!

Colonel Jerry, my parents lived at Atlantic Beach, NC for years and once while I was staying over a weekend I woke early and went out to the car to get a bag and I see two guys wrapped in ponchos laying in a bed of yucca bushes. I go back in and tell Pops who is up and rambling in the kitchen doing coffee things, I say, Pops there are two guys laying in the yucca bushes, he says, its OK just some Marines they will disappear shortly. I say, damn they are tough as hell to lay down in the yucca bushes and he says sometimes they crawl under his truck! My Mom would sometimes wake them and offer to feed them but most refused and apologized for sleeping in the yard and left. Those boys had to have been sporting a huge drunk to lay in the yuccas!
