…I think the kid giving the finger is over the top. It’s the kinda thing I’d expect the left to do, and I think we should be above that. We can do better.
OTOH, the “village missing its idiot” and “one big ass mistake America” are juuuuuuuuuust fine.
They should have at least spray-glued the visqueen to the sign so it doesn’t flap around and cause glare.
Hey, everybody’s a critic.

If that was an index finger with an owie, bandaged up with an Obamacare™ brand Band-Aid with a $600 price tag hanging off it…I think that’d make a much more effective statement.

Delightful.
An alternate photo could have the girl with her fists on her hips or holding a broken piggy bank.

Just have to be sure her finger doesn’t look like a gun.
Truth is stranger than fiction. How I wish we were discussing fiction.

Apo, we’ve spent decades “not stooping to their level”, and where has that gotten us?
America is over-run with the assholes because so many people were playing by the rules they assigned to us, instead of playing by the rules they assigned to themselves.

We can’t stoop to their level. We don’t want to steal everyone else’s shit, lie constantly or turn everyone into serfs.

I do have to say the finger sign would have been just as effective with just the pouty girl, without holding up the finger.

Stooping to their level does not mean assuming their lifestyle or morals (or lack of), but we need to stop pretending they are “just people with a different mindset”. They are the enemy. Nothing less. They need to be treated like any other enemy who would invade our country and destroy it to replace the government with a tyrant and enslave the free.
This type of invasion is no different from an armed invasion other than that in armed invasions, you don’t have people being executed“re-educated” by the millions.

It’s not that I’m worried about sparing their pwecious feewings, CI. I could give a tin shit if they’re offended. But I think we can readily accomplish “offending them” without asking little kids to make obscene gestures.
As a parent who’s had the devil’s own time explaining to my kids why cuss words aren’t punctuation even while some of their contemporaries were openly yelling “FUCK” before their age hit double-digits, I can assure you that shit like this isn’t helping the few adults who apparently still expect children to keep a civil tongue.

Every kid I grew up with could give the middle finger salute by the first grade. 47 years ago that is. If you think you are gonna keep your kids from viewing stuff like this and worse you are hiding your own head in the sand.
Oh yeah, if your mom caught you sticking that digit up at someone or even heard third hand that you might have done the deed ass whippings soon followed.
Don’t hide it from them but make it another lesson on how to act like someone with some home training.

Sure, it could’a been more sensitive to the mididigiphobes,
but the sign never would’a made it to KisP.
Ads aren’t just about the message, they’re about getting the message out.
You don’t think the Left say the outrageous things they do, because it’s part of the intellectual basis of their philosophy, do ya?
Besides, a rude gesture of contempt from a little girl too young to vote in response to her already owing over $300K is a response to “taxation without representation” which was historically met with somewhat more than a rude gesture of contempt.
No, I don’t think the image is over the top at all.

On one hand, I’m almost sure the I should think this sign is in poor taste.
On another hand, I totally like it.
Let’s face it, the kids that poster represents, may have already been screwed (there Sandra, for once I didn’t say “fucked”) beyond any redemption, and that’s where the real outrage ought to fall.
If I were that kid, I’d be wanting to hold up a lot more than my insult finger.
