PPP’s first post-conventions poll in Ohio finds Barack Obama with a 5 point lead over Mitt Romney, 50-45. This is the largest lead PPP has found for Obama in an Ohio poll since early May. Last month Obama led 48-45.

Are you talking about the Mitt Romney who as a missionary in Frances waded into a group of rugby players who were harassing some female missionaries? Rugby players tend to be a tough crowd and Obama would barely qualify as their towel boy.

aside: I doubt any of the polls can properly predict the “stat home” vote, which, as DuJan points out, could be substantial, and the deciding factor. Won’t just be the disenchanted black vote; a lot of jewish vote could stay home too.

… it’s well know that the original link with VJ (aka “the night stalker”) was with Michelle, then with Barak, whom she “mentored;” and we know that it appears that she is key in setting many WH policies (possibly in concert with Michelle), while spending quite a lot of time in the WH residential quarters at night….
… so, what if the relationship between VJ and Michelle is a lot closer than generally supposed?
(I’m not even sure that which one she spends the most time with proves anything: he’s got the levers of power, so of course she spends time with him too.)

It’s a no brainer. BHO’s only chance is to run, but in the unlikely chance that R1 can’t run him down himself, he can always have R2 do it for him.
