Notice how that adoring mother has her smart phone up like that?
I think she’s taking a pic of her little darling with that beheading sign to MMS/email all her friends and family everywhere. Too young to even know what’s being done to him, the little rat is sooooo precocious; getting an early start on being part of the global ascendency of one of history’s most brutal and repressive cultures.
There’s a theory some people in the west have that if islamic women were just empowered they would put those nasty brutish islamic men in their place. I know and respect some of the people who think this, but they are wrong.
Since the beginning of the human species females are the preservers, carriers, and conveyers of their culture. Part of the problem of Islam is the enabling relationship the women have with their culture*, which rewards them with a level of brutality and subjugation almost unknown anywhere else in human history.
Got no clue what to do about this, but I am increasingly impatient with the “poor innocent moslem women” line of thought.
* Say “Stockholm” all you want, it still works out the same.

Wollf:
6: “Behead the Beheaders” ???? I dunno, it’s pretty good the way you have it.
5: Good luck with the football. I’m thinking I may have to check out for a week or so. If I read one more goddamn news story my circuits may fry. Hard work and some movies that are not set in the present* are all I can think of.
* NO! I did NOT mean “The Wind and the Lion.” Given it’s plentitude of beheadings, not Game of Thrones either.
I in D: It depends on the woman, and that is key. Take Wafa Sultan or Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Assist women who have a streak of independence and who feel they are subjugated – women who fear for their lives and the lives of their children. Women who are complicit are useless.
Just ran across this unusual blog, and thought I’d share.
Ironic…. If you have Netflix, try The Warehouse, or Eureka….. Clears my palate with think and funny.

PeggyU 9 + 10: I don’t want to be misinterpreted, and I’m not sure how to say what I’m trying to say clearly and succinctly. I know it’s not all muslim women, and I know that many of them suffer horribly, and I know it’s a culture of fear that makes other choices difficult. And I certainly don’t want to blame any victims.
I’m also thrilled whenever I see any muslim of either gender acting for sanity. Followed your link, by the way, and bookmarked it so I can revisit.
My point, however, stands. Regardless of other factors, on the balance, the “average” influence of moslem women taken as a whole is a substantial part of the problem, and it’s hard to know how to change this. General literacy (which many in the moslem third world lack) is an essential foundation, however, it isn’t enough — you take a look at what happens with the literate ones living in the west and I’ll bet you find yet more women iSnapping their little darlings getting all indoctrinated up for the Grand Jihad.

11 ^ Thanks Wollf. I’ll give it a shot.
By the way, there’s a movie out there somewhere (I think shot in Russia) in which the heros are gallant Soviet troops fighting a final rearguard action against muslim savages during the final Soviet retreat from Afghanistan. (Perspective, perspective.) Haven’t seen it; just the trailer. Uhhh…. okay, maybe not that….
I could also read something light and uplifting like Sinclair Lewis’s “It Can’t Happen Here” or maybe Hemingway “For Whom the Bell Tolls” ….. ah…. well, may not those either……
…anyhow, think I’ll be out for a bit. There are things I must do; resources are limited. And I am hoping to keep some sanity. I wish everyone well.
Bring your silly assed beheading sword and see if it can deflect what spits out of my toys.

Captain Shitstain and Her Filthiness bend over backwards to kiss up to “moderate” Muslims. However, you may recall that much of the Muslim world was rejoicing post 9-11, and so-called “moderate” Muslims were dead silent at that time and have been since. There are indeed a few Muslims that have had the courage to condemn the barbarity, and you’d think, lend courage to the supposedly “moderate” Muslims to speak up in condemnation of that barbarity. But the silence endures eleven years later, eleven years in which America has spent a trillion dollars, lost more than 6,000 dead and 42,000 wounded to free Muslims from brutal dictatorships and murdering religionists. Yet the “moderate” Muslims remain silent.
For many Americans, that silence has meant approval for the acts of that day eleven years ago, and the atrocities since then.
Until there is an Islamic Reformation or more, a lot more, “moderate” Muslim condemnation of radical Islamist behavior, I and probably many more Americans have no more patience, energy, sympathy or trust for “moderate” Muslims.
I’d like that sand nigger bitch to go back to her Islamic hellhole and poison her child’s mind all she likes, and proudly snap pics on her phone until the battery is dead. Lots of luck getting batteries without Western civilization.

Colonel:
Did some looking into that several years ago, how old English prefixes and suffixes have changed in meaning over centuries. Many words, such as wife or silly or daily bread (in the Lord’s Prayer) have completely changed in meaning: wife originally referred to any female, even animals; silly meant natural or unspoiled; and daily bread meant food, including meat.
The Brit expression bloody is an elision/contraction/slurring of a very pious oath, “By the Grace of Our Lady, Mary, mother of God.” But rough farmers’ and seamen’s tongues corrupted it by first dropping the “Mary,” and then the “mother of God” — too many syllables to get the point across.
Now, the word by was pronounced “bee” throughout the British Isles a few centuries ago, so a Warrickshire or Cockney speaker would have pronounced the now-shortened oath to “Bee the Grace of Oor Lahddy,” which STILL was too damned long . . . so next the “Grace” was dropped, making it
“Bee oor Lahddy,” and you can see how eventually the elision and contraction process could easily lead to “B’r'lahddy” and finally “bloody.”
Same process is happening today . . happens in all languages to varying degrees. Take the simple expression “I am going to thrash you soundly”: Since people want to get to the point quickly, they contract and slide words into each other, such that “I am” becomes “I’m” and “going to” becomes “goin to”; who needs that annoying final “g” on words anyway — we all know the rules for how and when to drop it. (Process is the Principle Of Least Effort, or P.O.L.E.)
So “I am going to” becomes “I’m goin to” which then becomes “I’m gonna.”
In fact, you’ll even hear the entire phrase reduced to the single sound “Ahmo,” and as for the “thrash you soundly,” well that’s just archaic, and modern parlance would tend to make it “bust you up,” eventually producing what might rattle around on streetcorners today as “Ahmo buss U up.”
Behead is a weird one. Now you know that most English verbs can also serve as nouns, and vice versa. So let’s look at head as a verb. For example, in Britain today, and probably parts of New England, the term deadhead is used in trimming or pruning flowers or shrubberies. At one point in the evolution of English, the prefix be meant “gone” or “away” or “off,” as in “begone,” for example.
So attaching be to the verb head would clearly describe detaching the top like lopping off a wilted rose blossom.
Now English spelling . . . that’s an entirely different discussion. And I blame Caxton for it, entirely.
