tonight’s audience participation

Is it just me or are we on a completely different plane than the rest of the world? Because I’m looking around and can’t seem to find the words lately to describe what I’m watching unfold…….everywhere……faster and faster and the rest of the planet is going wha….

for example:

President Barack Obama on Monday said the attack at the U.S. consulate in Libya “wasn’t just a mob action” and admonished people to ignore the anti-Islamic video that has sparked unrest throughout the Middle East.

In an interview taped Monday to air Tuesday “The View,” Mr. Obama said the best way to “marginalize” the inflammatory remarks in the anti-Islamic video is to ignore it

When Iranian President Ahmadinejad ascended the podium to speak on the rule of law at the UN today, Israeli UN envoy Ron Prosor rose from his seat and walked out while the U.S. envoys remained

You simply do not invite Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a pure evil crackpot Holocaust denier who wants to see Israel obliterated from planet Earth, to the United Nations on Yom Kippur, a Day of Atonement, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar….

meanwhile…….

The Pakistani government on Monday distanced itself from an offer by one of its Cabinet ministers to pay $100,000 for anyone who kills the maker of an anti-Islam film, saying the offer does not represent official government policy…

Bilour said Saturday that he would pay the reward money out of his own pocket. He also appealed to al-Qaida and Taliban militants to contribute to “a noble cause” of eliminating the filmmaker…

He’s at the UN, where he’s preparing to speak out against … freedom of speech

Someone asked me the other day “is it a full moon or something?”
To which I replied “every f’ing day is a full moon these days”.

I’d say “it’s the end times”, but God has a way of surprising you on just how bad “much worse” can be.
Just when your brain can’t accept how bad things are going, He goes “check this out..”

    From the NY Times:
“The survivors of the assault on the American Mission in Benghazi, Libya, thought they were safe. They had retreated to a villa not far from the main building where the surprise attack had occurred, and a State Department team had arrived to evacuate them. The eruption of violence had ended, and now they were surrounded by friendly Libyan brigades in what seemed to be a dark, uneasy calm.
Then, shortly after 2 a.m. on Sept. 12, just as they were assembling to be taken to the airport, gunfire erupted, followed by the thunderous blasts of falling mortar rounds. Two of the mission’s guards — Tyrone S. Woods and Glen A. Doherty, former members of the Navy SEALs — were killed just outside the villa’s front gate. A mortar round struck the roof of the building where the Americans had scrambled for cover.
The attackers had lain in wait, silently observing as the rescuers, including eight State Department civilians who had just landed at the airport in Benghazi, arrived in large convoys. This second attack was shorter in duration than the first, but more complex and sophisticated. It was an ambush.
It was really accurate,” Fathi al-Obeidi, commander of special operations for a militia called Libyan Shield, who was there that night, said of the mortar fire. “The people who were shooting at us knew what they were doing.”

So they went from a random mob of movie critics to a skilled assault team in a few hours? It takes trained professionals to coordinate an attack in the wee hours using mortars and automatic weapons, involving the surveillance of a previously secret facility, setting and ranging the weapons and placing the attacking personnel, the ambush of a convoy from the Benghazi airport, and swift and accurate execution of the attack, with no casualties among the attackers.
Jaysusfuckingchrist on skates, who is the biggest lying, tone-deaf, self-aggrandizing bitch in that row of seven bitches in the pic?

    More from NYT:
“Among the more than two dozen American personnel evacuated from the city after the assault on the American mission and a nearby annex were about a dozen C.I.A. operatives and contractors, who played a crucial role in conducting surveillance and collecting information on an array of armed militant groups in and around the city.
‘It’s a catastrophic intelligence loss,’ said one American official who has served in Libya and who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the F.B.I. is still investigating the attack. ‘We got our eyes poked out.’”
The safe house was also the headquarters of the CIA MANPAD and chemical weapon recovery effort. Who the fuck uses an intelligence HQ as a safe house? A safe house should be an innocuous, sterile little fortress, not a treasure trove of intelligence documents. The hadji’s got a list of locals who were helping the Americans with the recovery effort. Dead men walking.

Something that bugs me about these attacks.

Sean Smith was an avid player of Eve Online. I won’t get into my personal dislike of him for his activities in the game, as that’s not relevant, but one of his friends in game (a man whom the world would be better off without) supposedly was talking to Sean when all this went down.

What I’m not seeing in the media, other than one single statement on a story on theblaze.com, was the comment his friend made. His statement was that smith said the following:
“assuming we don’t die tonight. We saw one of our ‘police’ that guard the compound taking pictures”.

It wasn’t long after that the attack happened.

I personally would not put it past “the mittani” (the in name guy of a real scumbag lawyer named Alexander) to make this stuff up to make himself look important. He’s arrogant enough to believe he could get away with that sort of sensationalistic lying.
However, assuming he’s not just talking out his ass, and that Sean did in fact make that statement, I am left wondering why this has not gotten a lot more attention, unless the media is trying to cover it up completely.

On 4 November 2008, still in its prime at the relatively young age of 232, the United States, as do most democracies and republics, attempted suicide by succumbing to fraud, corruption, and a completely misguided national fad of namby-pambiness, more popularly known as political correctness.

After laying claim to the twin peaks of superpowerdom in both economics and military superiority after success in two major global wars, the US became fat, complacent, and timid, likely a result of the relentless, whiney-ass irritation by political and religious fringe elements demanding Robin Hoodesque wealth redistribution, castles in the air, and unicorns to ride around on.

The unremitting pressure and censure from domestic minority factions had finally resulted in creating a subculture which was completely dependent upon government dole for its very subsistence. And the incessant accusations and condemnations from corrupt and oppressive third-world despotic regimes had caused kindly old Uncle Sam to put away his signature top hat and wear the black beret of kick-ass Globocop.

Constant brushfires, riots, rebellions, and religious fanaticism chipped away at the self-respect, the confidence, and the sense of purpose which had led the US to victories in technology, war, medicine, business, and space exploration. Growing, nagging concern for odd and unconventional fringe elements of society eroded the cornerstones of faith in God, personal accountability, patriotism, and self-sufficiency, instilling a fear of success in the American psyche which caused a false sense of widespread guilt for offenses which no living American had ever been guilty of.

Everyone who watches crime dramas knows that suicide is a major occupational hazard for cops, and Globocop was no exception. It’s as if the nation had become so afraid of being drowned socially and politically by boisterous malcontents that it considered suicide to avoid being assassinated by the badgering voices at the UN and in the unforgiving international press.

But, the attempt failed, causing little more than a bad case of vapors, a worse case of gas, and a general malaise that refuses to go away. So bad, in fact, are the indigestion and headache from the failed suicide that it appears a repeat will occur about the same time as the shift to Daylight Savings Time this fall.

The sincerest form of self-criticism is self-cide, of course, and though Richard Cory had good looks, money, personality, and basically everything everybody else wanted, he still put that bullet into his brain. Hard to say why he felt so worthless and guilty that ending it permanently was the only solution. Progressive money is on racism

When we try next time, the headache will be unbearable, but brief, because the bullet will be right between the eyes. The fact that they might be closed will have no effect on the result, and no amount of doctoring will pull us through it a second time.

We’ve had this crap for more than half a century. Khrushchev banged his shoe on a table, threatened to bury the U.S. , while people prepared for nuclear attacks. We’ve braved worst and succeeded.

Obama is a blip on the radar of history. His policies, lack of leadership and allowed neglect of the United States will be remembered as another experiment in Progressive thinking that failed. In spite of his media cheerleaders, most of the United States has had enough. Washington will listen, or Washington will find it’s an island in a nation of angry citizens.

    By the way,
I think the reason the US envoys didn’t walk out on Ahmadinejad is that they didn’t want to leave any empty chairs for him to use as props.

2016 #6 Spooky— I don’t think I took a full breath thru the whole movie. After learning his history and seeing Americans so mesmerized by him and after 4 years of what’s been happening to this country and around the world still mesmerized and hating those who aren’t is what is spooky to me.

His description of the 100k bounty on the filmmaker’s head?

    “Inappropriate.”
