* “Withholding locations” of facilities that AQ terrorist combatants have been tracking for at least months and have raided (with loss of US lives) within the past couple of weeks? The “secret” compound that just came under mortar fire? Who the hell doesn’t know where it is?
* Concerns now for the risks to American personnel? (Hey, I thought American deaths were just “bumps in the road” anyway….)

Apparently some forms of intolerance are contagious. My wife is lactose intolerant, and I think I’ve caught it from her. A moderate amount of whole milk in my belly produces enough gas to run a Prius for a month.
And not only that, I think the strain I caught has mutated, ‘cause now I become hypertense any time I see or hear a politician on TV doing or saying ANYthing. What would that be . . . . verbose intolerance?

The strangest thing about it all is how a country with fewer than 3 million Muslims, or less than ONE percent of its total population, managed to put one in charge of its affairs. Erasing the contamination from these four years will take at least one entire generation. A second term will bring the tipping point for the US to go down the same slide as the Chin, Khan, Roman, and British empires. The economy will NEVER recover, nor will our status and prestige. And the problem is that half the people believe that he’s not only a nice guy, but is doing a really good job in fixing the total disaster he “inherited” and would probably have fixed it all by now if not for those damned Tea Partiers.
Strange thing about democratic election of officials in a republic — sometimes what happens is that individuals are elected who are less capable in many ways than the people they’re governing. The source of power in a republic is the citizens. When they surrender that to an inexperienced, inadequate, inept, and incapable impostor through their own ignorance and laziness, they probably will get the government they deserve.
