IMHO, the deliberate lying to every Sunday morning talk show host set the stage for the reaction, perhaps over-reaction, to Obama’s debate performance. When you lie to the media, you are treating them as you do us piss-ants and their egos will not stand for that.
By “over-reaction” I mean that Romney carried the night because of how good he was rather than how bad Obama was.The media cannot admit that Romney was great so they have to dump on Obama who turned in about the same barely articulate level of performance that they have been lauding for years.

All I can think of is how the main stream media would be treating all of this (everything that’s happened in the last 4 years) if it was President Bush.
