Saad al-Katatny was elected chairman of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood’s political wing, the Freedom and Justice Party …October 6.

…Katatny was quoted as saying that “The Muslim Brotherhood established the [FJP] to represent the Brotherhood’s political project, which, in the end, will be a wise government that will institute Islamic Shari’a law.”

Last week Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Muhammad Badie called on Muslims worldwide to liberate Jerusalem by means of jihad.

The United States had an unmanned Predator drone over its consulate in Benghazi during the attack that slaughtered four Americans

“They stood, and they watched, and our people died,” former CIA commander Gary Berntsen told CBS News.

…When the attack began, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Martin Dempsey and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta “looked at available options, and the ones we exercised had our military forces arrive in less than 24 hours, well ahead of timelines laid out in established policies,” a White House official told the network.

Even as the administration continues to vow that the perpetrators will be brought to justice, the man identified by witnesses as a ringleader in the attack continues to walk the streets of Libya without fear of arrest.

UPDATE:

Last week, Reza Kahlili, a former Revolutionary Guard member wrote that Iran had reached a deal with the Obama Administration to preserve portions of its nuclear program.

On Saturday, the Iranian regime confirmed this report.
The Iranian regime revealed on Saturday that the Obama Administration sent them a secret message through the Swiss Embassy recognizing their nuclear rights.

TEHRAN (FNA) – Senior Iranian parliamentary sources revealed on Saturday that the Swiss envoy to Tehran has quoted US President Barack Obama as acknowledging Iran’s nuclear rights.

Swiss Ambassador to Tehran Livia Leu Agosti attended a meeting with senior Iranian foreign ministry officials a few days ago to submit a letter from the US president to Tehran leaders.

Vice-Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Ebrahimi told FNA that during the meeting, Agosti had told the Iranian officials that President Barack Obama recognizes Iran’s right of access and use of the nuclear technology.

“There are a couple of points with regard to this (US) message (to Iran),” Ebrahimi said and added, “Firstly, during the session to submit the message, the Swiss ambassador to Tehran quoted the US president as saying that ‘we (the US) recognize your nuclear rights’.”

As regards the second issue, the lawmaker said that the Swiss diplomat had also quoted Obama as saying that “I didn’t want to impose sanctions on your central bank but I had no options but to approve it since a Congress majority had approved the decision.”

Do we still hang perps for treason? I’m wondering because John Walker and Robert Hanssen are still wasting oxygen. So is Uhbama.

Romney is on the ropes. He’s allowing obama to define false positions for him. He needs to get on offense.

    I think I want to… to… HUUUUUUURRRRRRL!

I can get it off the monitor, I think, but what about the keyboard? How do you get all of it out from in between all those key thingies?

Probably easier to pick one up at the senior center for $2.00.

Hog, Have you considered putting a plastic bag over the keyboard the morning of a debate?

Or stretch some saran wrap over it.

I’m trying to type with yardsticks.

Mech, both good ideas but I could have used them about an hour ago.

Romney is demonstrating a command of world affairs that will make obama’s contention that he’s not prepared look false. He’s finally starting to define obama’s failures. He needs to keep the debate focused on what obama’s done.

obama lies are coming so fast and furious that Romney can’t find a starting point to refute them. obama knows the media won’t call him on any of them.

Schieffer keeps trying to set up Romney on the questions that he answers first. Romney keeps refusing to deal with his hypotheticals.

    Two Observations

    1. obama has an eerie calm and confidence. It’s not natural. A normal person would be at least a little nervous. He has the demeanor of a student who’s been giving the answers to the test in advance.

    2. obama is rattling off answers to the questions with an uncanny level of specificity and then immediately following with attacks on Romney that match his remarks.

    Something here is not right.

When Obama made that comment to Romney about our military not using bayonets or horses (which he was incorrect about, incidentally), I was really hoping Romney would come back and ask about the military purchase of Chevy Volts – I mean how useful must those be?

    Ironic: nice PS. heh heh.

I think Mitt wasn’t going to get dragged into every little tit-for-tat, insult-for-insult exchange that Obama wanted him to, but he did slam him good once or twice. “Attacking me is not an agenda” was priceless!

Overall, Obama came across as some smart-assed little college boy who thinks he knows everything, and that’s his ‘base’ anyway. Romney appeared patient and presidential. He acted like an adult.

15: Obama came across as some smart-assed little college boy who thinks he knows everything, and that’s his ‘base’ anyway.

You know, that’s actually what he is, and he’s been proving it for the last four years while junketing around the world showing how much he knows compared to all those dull adults he needs to rebel against.

15 : Romney appeared patient and presidential. He acted like an adult.

Yeah, and I think it’s going to win him the White House. If not, the country deserves what it gets instead.
