I’ve always loved Candy Corn (Brach’s brand specifically), but I think my favorite candy that I get around halloween (even though it’s available year round), is Bit ‘o honey

Milky Way and Hershey’s dark chocolate (the bite sized ones).
I live on a three house street and we hardly ever see a trick or treater. I love the morning after Halloween when I go to the local big box store and buy big ol’ bags of my favorites like Reeses and various chocolates and my Linda Lou’s favorite, Butterfingers. I try to make these last until Boxing Day when I pick up on stuff the day after Chistmas, etc.
Little boxes of Junior Mints. There are 6 or 7 in each box

Gotta have the candy corn for sure– that’s tradition— Kit Kat, Reese’s, Buttah fingers— (hate how they stick to my teeth) — but love them.

Fun size candy bars, definitely. Probably overstocked this year too because our community center down the block has decided to have their Halloween thingie tonight instead of on the 31rst (I don’t KNOW why, but it’s put on by the local gummint and schools so….) Anyway we usually get a lot of kids on halloween because of that. I suspect the traffic will be down considerably from last year, so more for me!
I AM keeping a couple condoms around in case any kids in Sandra Fluke costumes come around. Those ought to go nicely with the candy cigarettes.

Frozen fun size Snickers and Snickers miniatures should be illegal.

Cain`t remember precisely, but I bought a Halloween bag of small Snickers about 2002, give or take. Haven`t had any kids knock since that time. Soooo, I put the unopened bag in a kitchen drawer. IF some fucking kids ever come around, I will open that bag and pass em out. {Waste not, Want not…}

I don’t get many kids; and since I have no self-control, I buy a bag of candy I don’t like.
Before I learned that lesson, I ate almost an entire bag of mini 3-Musketeers the day after a few years ago. Tummy ache.

I usually stock up with extras to take hunting. Most recently I got some of those maple nut thingies (except they aren’t packaged for the kiddies) and am hiding the bag in the truck so I don’t wolf it all down at once.
Some folks have a veggie drawer in the fridge. I have a chocolate drawer–pick up interesting chocolate bars and drop them in there to munch a couple of squares throughout the evening.
Hmmm halloween candy? Butterfinger and snickers are all that come to mind right now. And the flavored tootsie rolls. And taffy. . .

I miss Halloween since we moved to the boonies. I have no leftover candy on the first of Nov.
