(Note: my previous post was written at 4am, but now I’ve had a nice nap, and I’ve taken some time to reconsider things.)
on the horrors of sophomoric moral idealism, and on
the likelihood that America’s 21stC will be a re-hash of Europe’s 20thC.

I mean, it’s not like we weren’t warned.
It’s not like nobody saw it coming.
It’s not like it never happened before.
It’s not like any of us can do anything about it.
Hell, neither could Dagney or Hank.
(What? No, he didn’t fix it, either. He went on strike. Besides …
who is our John Galt? What is #TheStrike?)
Look, I apologize for the dark tenor of my recent posts, but spitting helps get this rotten taste out of my mouth, and it helps vent the overpressure of contempt I feel for my countrymen who have shitcanned their freedom (and ours along with it) that was earned and maintained by the brilliance, inspiration, generosity, blood, agony, sacrifice, sweat, tears, and fundamental goodness of far better Americans than they. Over two centuries of the freest nation that ever was … gone. And for what? For the prospect of loot, for unearned collective self-esteem, and for the false, arrogant pride in an immoral morality … for true, selfish greed.
The American Republic was the highpoint of civilized mankind’s agonizing climb to overcome his animal nature, to escape his bondage by the powerful, and to enable the noblest aspects of his nature, ability, and imagination. Now, it has succumbed to the basest of these and has become just another collectivist swamp populated by sniveling beggars, it’s finest days relegated to a soon-to-be faded and distorted footnote in history.
Sure, one might blame this on ignorance and stupidity or on dishonesty and propaganda, but those are reasons, not excuses.
To those out there who enabled this treason and saddled all of mankind with this catastrophe:
Damn you all ! Damn you all to Hell ! [strong message to follow]
Some people just don’t deserve America.
(What? Yeah, reckon the nap didn’t do me any good, after all.)
