good Lord!

you can’t win with these people

I learned that Jesus walked the earth to create a more civilized society, Martin (Luther King) walked the earth to create a more justified society, but, Apostle Barack, the name he was called in my dreams, would walk the earth to create a more equalized society, for the middle class and working poor. Apostle Barack, the next young leader with a new cause, had been taken to the mountaintop and allowed to see over the other side.

—PROFESSOR Barbara Thompson

…“‘Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and gave him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the ‘new, wonderful, good society’ which shall now be Rome’s, interpreted to mean: more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious.’…

Dangit, Sondra. I’ve been trying really hard NOT to think Obama just might be the anti-christ.

    Your not helping, hun.

Well, maybe with any luck, someone will nail him to a tree.

Would that he had been taken to the mountaintop and …..

MikeG: “… Obama just might be the anti-christ.:

    “Barack Hussein Obama”: 18 letters; 18 = 3*6 = 6+6+6.

Obama is not anything like Christ.

Thompson’s drug induced dream is an example of the brainwashing of the masses accomplished by a failed education system and a lying scumbag Communist media.

Obama does, however, exhibit quite a bit of the antichrist. In fact he may be the enabler of the scaly bastard.

I have to point out that the quote attributed to Cicero is spurious. Caldwell’s apparently responsible for putting a lot of words in Cicero’s mouth.

It took a while, but I finally found the good Professor Barbara Thompson (Prof of Physical Education):

    Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

    She’s #7 of 8 on the faculty list. Her CV isn’t there. Here’s a Prof-rating site:

    Barbara Thompson

Too small a sample to be significant.

Nothing else on the Web about her. Lots about the book, though.

Larry: One quotation site attributes it to that well-known and prolific author, Anonymous.

It’s been a long-standing practice to attribute things to famous people. Einstein has more quotes than he ever said. In the early days of the Bible (before it got put together), people would write gospels and attribute them to long-dead apostles.

Read the quote carefully, and it will seem as if it were written no more than a few years ago: “… “new wonderful good society” ….”. A Roman would never have said that.

^ Not to mention that it’s written in English, eh?

    Missy,
that pic reminds me of a discounted Obama commemorative plate.
(What? No, that would be “head on a platter.”)

Michael Medved had her on the other day…I was beyond flabberghasted as were a couple of callers after she was on. She made the usual accusations with all the usual talking points but with NOTHING to back them up.

Medved had her on to demonstrate that these are the people we lost to…….fucking sociopathic morons.

I don’t think that he will end up the way that Caeser did.

Never a Roman around when you need one, eh?
    As for the analogies:
He did come to town sittin’ on his ass,
    Palms were crossed,
The nature of his birth is a continuing controversy,
His ascendancy to power is a miracle, aaand
He has made it easier to blame Jews for stuff.

And he’s gonna heal the sick, by passing Obamacare.
