It’s just about sex …

… and, yeah, okay, maybe treason.

Overview, because no embedding.

Oh, wait … diplomatic status? Just throwin’ ‘er weight around or …

Is this just bad-boy/bad-girliness, is there actual betrayal, or is the administration now in purge mode?

We’ll see, but this is beginning to stink.

Beginning? This stunk to high heaven on day one.

“White House not informed” my ass. Like Holder’s FBI is going to NOT notify. Puh-leese.

At least try to make the lies believable, guys.

I think the only reason we’re not hearing calls for impeachment is the thought of “President Biden” sticks in everyone’s craw (even Democrats).
There has to be some way of nailing some of this on him, too….

Beginning to stink? As in this bloated whale carcass that has been sitting in the sun since September 11 has “begun” to stink?

I had to go find out who Jill Kelley is: “… a social climber whose lavish lifestyle is now threatened by millions of dollars in debt and possible foreclosure on her home”.

I trust that now she knows there’s no such of a thing as “honorary diplomatic immunity”.

This story gets weirder and sleazier by the day.

Evidently GEN Petraeus and Broadwell were using the old spy eMail technique: log on, wriet a message, save it as a draft. Next person long on to the same account and read the draft. No eMail sent.

    But it’s in there somewhere.

Bad news for Petraeus. He was one of the Pentagon’s best and brightest.

This is a story I’d expect to see on a daytime soap opera.

    mojo, Peggy,
I have a lousy sense of smell.
Things have to reek pretty badly before I’m aware of it.

Anybody who imagines that this Senate would conduct an impeachment trial of OBoBo is smokin some *highgrade shit*!

I believe that Conservative, patriotic Americans somehow believed they could relax, after 4 years of pure agony. For a large host of reasons we failed to recognize the truth that ALL political parties:RAT/STUPIDS/ LIBERTARIANS had decayed, gone *Establishment* (…whatever…) and were touting control they did not have!!!!!

WE lost badly; really, really badly. People who are starting to say, “Our goal is 2014 elections…” are thinking like the system ain`t broken. It is! This ain`t the Super Bowl.

What will be required of us? To do what has never been done, including the Civil War.

WE must first collect the evidence of the crime scene. Then we must attempt to find the criminals, deal with them and from that:
    {Come up with a whole new set of Federalist Papers, based on Truth, Morals, New Methodology, Sell it to a different America, different demographics and a whole new set of untested solutions! So long as we are out of Power, we can not sell the YOUNG on the truth of Adam Smith`s Economics. Right now they are prisoners, living on FALSE notions! WE MUST OFFER THEM A WAY OUT or we are doomed!…}

If we don`t devote ourselves to this, we are not like the Founders! AND our guidance and counsel is waaay harder than theirs!!!!

Are we really expected to be so stupid as to accept that the FBI discovered that the director of the CIA was compromised and DIDN’T TELL ANYONE? The sheer contempt this administration constantly displays towards the citizenry is making me want to break things. Okay, maybe they have a point, since the citizenry returned the hapless dweebs for another four years. Hard to maintain any sort of respect for somebody who would let you keep your job after four years of gross incompetence.

Anyway, forget impeachment. Sure the House could approve Articles of Impeachment but the Senate would never vote for conviction. At this point I’m not too concerned about the prospect of President Biden, since it’s only a choice between malevolent sabotage and bumbling idiocy. I say throw out the Marxist and let Pee-Wee Herman run thing, he couldn’t be any worse. But we won’t face that be cause Obama could eviscerate Betty White on TV and feast upon her entrails, and the media would go “Romney! And Bush!!!” We have four more years of Obama whatever happens.

I think Petraeus had to go – not because of the affair, but because of his voluntary affiliation with the twin sisters.

    Allen as well.

They both demonstrated extremely poor judgement in matters not related directly to combat operations.

TimO @ 2: “the thought of “President Biden” sticks in everyone’s craw

Um, maybe not. Biden may be many unserious things, but he has the virtue on NOT being a dyed-in-the-wool Alinskyite. Perhaps the only one in the Administration.

Pamela Geller pointed out that now, if Patreaus spills the beams, his testimony can be dismissed by the media as sour grapes from a disgruntled, former employee fired for cause.
