Aren’t staples suppose to be for stapling things together–??? Love the yellow/gold– and the little drift wood and glass thingy for hanging things on— the ones we have at the camp in the woods have deer horns on them. The glass is much purtiur.

Whoa! I just commented on some alternate universe thread that didn’t show up here. It loaded up and all then I came back and it was disappeared.
I am imagining putting the pics of the Asylum together to make a 3-d tour.
Just visualize taking thousands of staples out of a hardwood floor.
That was my first construction job. they stapled the carpet pad to the floor. I refinished it.

I’ll take a picture in the morning and show you what the staples were all about.
Let’s just say … the floor varnish from upstairs still dripped down….

So you’re removing the staples not stapling the staples— that’s a different story. Carry on!!

Your best friend in these situations — tape, overspray, paint, etc is a sharp 3/4″ or 1″ wood chisel. Use a dull one for the staples with a putty knife between it and the wall/woodwork.
