Tipping Your Hand — not so good

but nothing like having someone else tip your hand

Xinhua …. the pinnacle of Chinese state-run media … calls on Obama to exploit the tragedy to push his gun control agenda, adding that his lame duck situation represents “the best position to promote it,” while blaming the National Rifle Association for curtailing previous attempts to regulate firearms in the United States.

Noting that after previous mass shootings efforts to impose gun control measures “disappointingly always fail,” the editorial expresses the desire that the “gunman’s cruelty and evil may provide a strong momentum and broader public support for the restart of gun control efforts.”

Wow. …like it was an Obvious Way To Go™… Like a Plan. or something…

The article adds that Barack Obama should begin “to make preparation for a protracted war,” with a massive political cost if he wants to eviscerate the second amendment.

wait… Is there sarcasm in Chinese?

Finish your assignment! »

… it was Mao himself who said “political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.”

Funny… That’s what these people seem to be saying’… [even though the article has been pulled by Bloomberg Nooz…. ]

*cough* »

Well Yaaa!! As we say here in the U.P. of course he’d say that . Seeing as he’s the next leader of this country. He’s just being a good scout and being prepared for that glorious day.

And then the Chicoms, who lead the world in executions, rounded up a hundred thousand unarmed peasants, put them against a wall and shot them in the back of the head to make their point.

Progressives don’t understand there is no “getting the guns”.
We have them, they don’t, we win and there’s nothing they can do about it, except shut up and hope we don’t decide to get rid of progressives.

In MY day, Sonny, there wouldn’t be no “with all due respect” ball shoot, all’s you’d hear would be the chambering of a .30 cal. round and the report of an “accidental discharge.”

Life was ever-so-much-more-simple in the Old Days!

Funny that the – ahem – so called press here in Brazil talks about the NRA as if it was the King of Demons. Ok, our so-called press is libtard, too …

It is much harder to slaughter peasants if they’re armed, and slaughtering peasants has been the main hobby of the far left for over 200 years.

Governments murdered over 262,000,000 people in the 20th century. This is me not trusting “government” as the solution to the problem of murder.

MiT, glad to see you are still around! Hope things are going well?
I have gotten tired of trying to reason with the anti-self defense idiots. Sometimes it just comes down to telling them to f**k off. Funny thing is most of them understand that right off and go on to pester someone else. The 2nd amendment is not about duck hunting but all about giving the people a chance to fight a tyrannical .gov. Oh yeah, the chinks can kiss my ass right on the brown spot.
Sorry, I’ve been drinking beer this afternoon.

    Merry Christmas!

The call to arms of the week was “We must protect our children, spare no effort,” and cop cars appeared at schools all over the country and the Progs swarmed like locusts to every gun control meme you could think of.
All over the country, it’s commonplace to see armed guards in banks and armed cops at the door to every government building in the country, so tell me, do parents value their bank accounts and their government employees more than their children? I don’t think we’d find a single one that would.
Then why was the most realistic solution of the week, offered up by the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre – put an armed guard in every school – booed, jeered and ignored? Because he had the temerity to suggest a realistic solution, it costs money, it doesn’t ban guns and it did not come from a Progressive.
Now IMHO, those cynical bastards knew damn well a real fix would be expensive, and besides, it put guns in a favorable light. Children protected by guys with guns would exalt men with guns. No PC mother wants that. Their boys gotta play with gender neutral toys, so for God’s sake, don’t let them see men making their living with courage and guns.
Let’s just pass more laws against guns, laws that don’t cost anything, especially when they aren’t enforced, and they can say they took serious action to stop this horrible trend..
So there we have the answer. The Progs will protect the children…so long as it isn’t too expensive and it bans guns. Which won’t work, and when the next mass murdering shooter comes along, and it will happen, LaPierre told them what to do.
    And
    They won’t do it.
And the new laws won’t fix the problem.
If…. if his words were heard over the MSM’s usual efforts to bury such truth, I hope his words come back to piss all over the cynical, self-serving politicians swarming out from under every rock and rotten log in legislatures all over the country to score some points at the expense of those poor folks in Newtowne.
LaPierre put the maximum effort solution out there on the table for those politicians, and if they don’t pick it up and run with it, they know who will be held responsible next time. That’s why they are doing their damnest to ignore or dismiss his words.
Just like in the kabuki fiscal cliff fiasco, they aren’t interested in solving problems, but putting on a show of concern and keeping their perks and power.

^^ and keeping the masses fighting with each other and not them^^ Over every subject they’ve interjected into their campaign to take this evil country down. We are all doing exactly what they’ve expected of us.
