I was born and raised in upstate NY and called it home for 40 years. From Rockefeller through Hugh Carey to the Cuomos the clowns in between it’s been something to watch. I saw Shumer smugly mocking some guy who didn’t think that an “internal security force, every bit as strong and as well-funded as our military” was a very good idea. He was mocking him.
