ThomasM, Are you going to brave the masses of low information voters to document the unholy event today?

It had been my plan to bicycle down (it’s about 10 miles to The Mall) after the speech and photograph the wreckage, but it’s a frightfully cruddy day here with rain probable so I’ve decided to tough it out at home.

You did it!! You framed them!!— Isn’t it much better to have them than the furnisher store prints?

    Great idea for hanging them.

I hate to be the wet blanket here, but as Oscar Wilde reportedly said, in his last dying words, “Either this wallpaper has to go, or I have to go”.

^ Except it’s not wallpaper. It’s leftover metal roofing from the shed that we found behind it:)

Ironic…I posted that eagle pic when he took it. Or maybe it was the one we found eating a seal’s face on the beach…

I’ll check when I get home.

If in teh future we need to get a license to “shoot” pics of wildlife, you can mount that “shingle” with all the other photos on that nass piece of roofing.

Sondra, though I recognized it, but searching is hard for me now. God, that was an awesome pic.

accipiter: If in teh future we need to get a license to “shoot” pics of wildlife

Yes!! Somehow shooting pics of wildlife disturbs them, and is therefore harmful to their sweet selves and to the environment. I think I will start a new environmental movement, get an endorsement from PETA, and start soliciting donations from weak minded progressives (there’s any other kind?). I can appoint myself administrator, and rake off a nice salary and some other perks while lobbying for legislation to ban this abuse of wildlife and the environmental holocaust it perpetuates.

Who knows, maybe I can even get a fifteen minute speech slot at the next Democratic convention. (And get bonked by a few adoring young activists in the process who want to “make a difference.”)

That cannot be the staircase to the dungeon, too much light.

This is what you can do when you find cool shit. The only things I find are old sofas in the parkway when the kids from UCLA move out of their apartments at the end of spring semester.

You shouldn’t shoot pics of wildlife, because it steals their souls.
(What? Yeah, sometimes I despair of my viewing habits, too.)

This must explain why vampires do not appear in photos and mirrors: no soul. (unless of course they are black, blues musician vampires — then they have lots of soul)

^ Name for the black blues musician vampire band’s first album:

    “Dungeon Blues”

    Title of first cut:

“Your cute little neck makes my fangs all chatter”

Ironic in Denver, it could just start out as a little tax to benefit the concerned “friends of the wildlife” who are fighting those evil conservatives that are out to poison their water and habitats.
