Low-way Robbery
The original story: poor little 3yo girl, attacked by a dog, being taken home from the hospital by her grandmother, gets tossed out of a KFC because her odd appearance was “freaking out the other customers.”
Americans, being who they are, kicked in with more than $135,000 in cash, gifts and free surgeries. KFC Corporation alone donated $30,000 toward her medical bills.
Heartwarming, right?
not so much….

Hence, the 48-hr rule.
But it was on the INNERWEBS!!!
Pity they felt they had to resort to dishonesty and perpetrate a hoax to pay their medical bills. Isn’t that what Obamacare is for?
^ *heh* Symmetrical twofer!
Things like this are why I’m cynical.
3 pit bulls? She’s lucky to be alive. Poor thing will be a long time recovering. Grandaddy should be rubbed down with raw meat and thrown in a cage with the remaining 7 dogs after the dogs have been starved and teased for few days. Unless you are a breeder, who the hell keeps 10 pit bulls, or for that matter, 10 of any dog at a residence?
I really can’t imagine a restauranteur asking anyone to leave based just on disfigurement, but oozing bandages or wounds are a health issue.
Once again, poor little girl.
My tax accountant always seems to have fresh facial scars every April?
I will admit, I usually DO NOT ever fall fro this kind of CR*P, but I did this time! She was so cute, and I was so STOOPID!!! The sad thing is, there are people out there who truly need the help, but they won’t get it from me, ’cause I’m going back into my “Crabby B*stid” mode. I’ll just buy more Bushmill’s for myself!
Hell of a pricy lesson to relearn after all these years!
But – the Left tells us that we are all skinflints and misers and could care less about anybody else.
Can’t say I’m surprised at anything these days, but the outpouring of generosity to the little girl is nice in spite of her family.
Thanks, Doug – Glad someone got my humor. ;)
What Dick said. Grandpa should at least do some kind of time and the dawg gone dogs gone.
#11 PeggyU…That was a beautiful turn of phrase, poetic even. I liked it, too. The edge is so keen on your sardonic wit it slides right in without a ripple!
^ Blushing to death here.
^PeggyU – that what Obamacare is for?
Yup, perpetrating hoaxes. Got that right!
