ToDaZeD Drivel that Deserves to be Ignored

Ok. Sometimes I have no self control

Elizabeth Warren [Fauxcahontis] went on to outline 11 tenets of progressivism:

- “We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement, and we’re willing to fight for it.”
[except for GoldmanSax]

- “We believe in science, and that means that we have a responsibility to protect this Earth.”
[nevermind the IF A :: THEN giraffe logyk. Y’all wouldn’t recognize actual *science* if it bit ya on the feathered headdress.]

- “We believe that the Internet shouldn’t be rigged to benefit big corporations, and that means real net neutrality.”
[except for Glooooogle and faceback and GE and…]

- “We believe that no one should work full-time and still live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage.”
[This economics field of study — ever heard of it?]

- “We believe that fast-food workers deserve a livable wage, and that means that when they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them.”
[see above.]

- “We believe that students are entitled to get an education without being crushed by debt.”
[Then stop with the .gov “loans” driving up the tuition prices.]

- “We believe that after a lifetime of work, people are entitled to retire with dignity, and that means protecting Social Security, Medicare, and pensions.”
[”Dignity” involves not being dependent on Other People.]

- “We believe—I can’t believe I have to say this in 2014—we believe in equal pay for equal work.”
[except at Teh White House]

- “We believe that equal means equal, and that’s true in marriage, it’s true in the workplace, it’s true in all of America.”
[No — you believe “equal” means “the same as.” Which means you’ll hafta hit most people repeatedly in the head with hammers to make them as dim as you are.]

Your turn.

    Progspeak gives me a headache.
Maybe my headdress is too tight.

(What? No, I love ‘em. Kind’a like “scrambled eggs” (AF: “farts’n darts,” like on my old wheel hat). I just think they should only be for guys. You know, for the Braves™ and Chiefs™, and not just Redskins™, either. Okay, yeah, mebbe for ladies, too, but only on role-playing night.)

Used to be I thought membership in the Senate, being the the senior body and Upper House and all that, required a penchant for deliberate thought, wisdom acquired from long study and experience, and a measured response to situations.
Then that shallow, shrill bitch shows up spouting peurile slogans and smashes all that perception to smithereens. Warren’s style and logic would fit right in with thirteen year old girls’ arguments with their parents over what they can or can’t wear. Her style gives Captain Benghazi a run for most cliched.
Get some duct tape on that, stat.
    Sheesh.

Has it occurred to anyone that ‘health insurance’ drives up the price of healthcare by the same economic formula?

Total healthcare coverage with limited heathcare assets means prices have to go up… supply and demand.

Healthcare insurance should ONLY be for catastrophic healthcare, not everyday healthcare (and student loans should be severely curtailed for that reason.)

When everything is ‘free’ no one will be able to afford it.

Dang. And to think I socked away most of my 2% here, 2% there pay raises into an IRA. Never missed cash I never saw (sorta like “withholding”). Retired early, with a million in there. What’s a pension? BTW, I’m too young to collect So-So Security. But then, I never figured it’d still be around anyway, what with the politicians sucking cash out of the “trust fund”.
