tarred/not tarred

For all the criticism in the media about Republican lawmakers not participating in the ceremony Saturday marking the 50th anniversary of the iconic civil rights march in Selma, Ala., there was little curiosity about the whereabouts of the prominent Democratic politician

As it turns out, the probable 2016 Democratic presidential nominee was just 618 miles away, as the crow flies, attending a Clinton Global Initiative event in Miami — husband Bill and daughter Chelsea were also in attendance, according to CBS Miami…

When President Obama walked across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Ala., this past weekend, George W. Bush was the only former president who joined him.

” I refused to march because BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Wow, separate posts on the same event within 10-min of each other without tramplin’ on each other’s points. Reckon it’s gonna be a good day.

Oh, and post-title joke of the year so far.
    In the running, anyway.

The hate-filled woman insulting George Bush is exactly the kind of individual Dr. King would pray for. As a Dr. King “expert” you’d think she would know that – wrong.

I suppose the woman wants her own bridge to march over.
