Quit leaning at me

and back off

Starbucks said the phase of the campaign that involved messages on drink cups was always scheduled to end Sunday.

We have always been at war with Eurasia.

Tuesday, March 17, 2015, 3:34 AM Starting on Monday, Starbucks baristas are being asked to write “Race Together” on coffee cups they hand to customers, as an invitation to talk to them about race.

Maybe they always meant yesterday-Monday. And most folks just misread next-Monday Monday…

“I know this hasn’t been easy for any of you – let me assure you that we didn’t expect universal praise,” Chief Executive Schultz wrote in a letter to staff and released by the company on Sunday. “We leaned in because we believed that starting this dialogue is what matters most.”

Sure. If by “dialog” you mean “everyone laughing uproariously at you.”

Does this mean we can stop trying to discover the racial backgrounds of all of our friends now?

I had the read the Wikipedia bio on this guy. He’s been very successful at running a coffee business, selling 50 cents of stuff for $5 in an overheated economy (pumped up by massive debt), but people will be back at McDonald’s for coffee when the obamanomics plan is complete. Then he won’t have a soapbox for talking about shiite of which he either knows nothing or is in on the crime (as in the Ferguson lie that has cost several cops, and others, their lives). If he wants to end racism then he should START by fighting the illegals invasion (and undercutting the labor market of the less-educated) and work to strengthen the black family so that the outcome is more productive members of society and fewer criminals and welfare cases.

Here in the Northwest, McDonalds sells “Seattle’s Best” coffee, which is a Starbucks company.

Good point, JBM, …but they’ll not be selling $5 coffees and then using the money against us and promoting lies. (There’s a lot less money in a 100% profit than 1000% profit.)

To Ferguson; stir up racial animosity by picking at scabs of division, while profiting nicely.

Suggest they start next week by having Baristas(?) write on every cup, “HEY, it wasn`t my fucking idea!”

8 + 10: “Don’t Shoot” — I’m thinking of a cartoon depicting this on the wall behind the counter of a Starbucks that’s getting robbed by… well, you know…

… or is this why Starbucks are mostly *not* located in areas containing large number of poor black people?

… or maybe poor black people (PBP)** just can’t afford the $6.50 black* coffee with white* whip dominantly on top?

… Say~!!! Does Starbucks take EBT cards? If not, why not? Discrimination, you know.

    * racist
** a new, permanent, acronym for a Fundamentally Transformed America (FTA)

By the way, that pic of Schultz with the giant Starbucks logo reminds me of some pseudo-messiah standing in the pulpit of his cult.

    I’m “leaning” towards this interpretation:

And for those who have a mind to use the logo
(it’s about the funest thing I’ve ever PShopped)
