* Not a great movie, but there is one iconic scene, the killing of Gromek.
Hitchcock describes the sequence: “In doing that long killing scene, my first thought again was to avoid the cliche. In every picture somebody gets killed and it goes very quickly. They are stabbed or shot, and the killer never even stops to look and see whether the victim is really dead or not. And I thought it was time to show that it was very difficult, very painful, and it takes a long time to kill a man.”
Or, to be more accurate…
Hey, it’s Einstein’s birthday, too!

L’il Kim just uses an anti-aircraft gun.
An opinion without 3.14 is an onion.
It’s true, too. It ain’t like in the movies, where you stick your boy scout folder into some guy and he drops like a rock.
No, they squeal and yell, so you stick ‘em again, and again…
Pretty soon you’re one o’ them 30-stab-wound killers.
