Here’s Obobo’s parting gift:

spring 2016 “Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions*,” which lists 3,260 regulations … 2,239 regulations [“active rules” = still in progress] the Obama administration still needs to get through in the next 173 days. …

Meanwhile in Congress, the big question everyday is “What’s on the menu at the House and Senate cafeterias?” Yum yum!

^bo1921 – House and Senate cafeterias?
Don’t sell the “smartest people in the world” short. It’s more like which expensive chi-chi restaurant is the lobbyist for [pick one] taking us to today? The cafeterias are for staff.
90% of all of them are self-serving dirtbags whose prime mission is raising reelection funds.

The worst part, Obama is the frying pan.

Donnary Rodham J. Trumpton is the fire.

We’re gonna need a bigger shredder.

^ 2 Dick – You’re probably right. I guess our rulers and their bag men would naturally prefer an outrageously expensive chi-chi to the high-class cafeterias that you’ll find at the congressional mess halls.

bo1921 – I wasn’t being critical of you, I’m probably just more cynical and disillusioned than you. Thinking on it, only the power brokers and “legislators” on the fence whose vote can swing an issue get the full royal treatment. The rest have to get by with the cafeteria, free gym and free haircuts.

Dick – You didn’t offend me. I’m a cynic, also. BTW, I understand that the House and Senate (especially the Senate) cafeterias are really nice. I’d be happy eating there.
