ToDaZeD Crazy Years

it’s trying

Sen. Chris Murphy [D-Con]… waged a roughly 15-hour filibuster into the early hours Thursday, asserting as he yielded the floor that Republican leaders had committed to hold votes on expanded gun background checks and a ban on gun sales to suspected terrorists.

“Suspected” — not tried nor convicted. “terrorists” — a term with a shifting definition.

“I hope you’ll understand some day why we’re doing this,” Murphy said, addressing his oldest son from the floor. “Trying and trying and trying to do the right thing is ultimately just as important as getting the outcome in the end.”

Do, or do not. There is no try.

What is the right thing? Is the right thing to open the door to removing rights — Natural Rights as delineated in the Constitution — from citizens on the basis of Secret .Gov Lists which no one knows how ya get on it, there is no way off it and no one outside the .gov knows who is listed?

Because you are afraid?

What else will you give up — will you take away from others — because you are afraid?

“The next time someone uses a gun to kill one of us, a gun that we could have kept out of the hands of a terrorist, then members of this Congress will have blood on our hands,” said Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren Fauxcahontas.

…Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., asked: “Where is our spine?”

Where, indeed?

Keeping in mind that a firm grasp of the obvious is the cornerstone of sanity, do they not realize that criminals — yanno, those who do not obey the Law — will always have guns to sell to wack-jobs, nut buckets, terrorists, and “terrorists”?

Meanwhile, back in Reality the land of the proles;

Gallup’s annual Crime poll conducted Oct. 7-11

Nearly half of those who favor a law requiring universal background checks doubt it would reduce the number of mass shootings.

Because mass shootings are promoted by the culture of Glamorous Mastermind Shooters [see his hawt selfie??!?] as endorsed by the MSM.

Seems to be a gap between the views and fears of Our Betters and the views of Regular People. Wonder when someone is gonna take seriously their responsibility to “pop him in his junk if he steps over you like that”?

    “Where is our spine?”
Ya probably don’t need one if you live and work in DC where you’re surrounded 24/7 with 57 armed police and military agencies whose job it is to protect you at taxpayer expense.

Your idea of “spine” is to leave us plebes outside the Beltway naked in the face of the bad guys among us. Notice the bad guys like “gun free” zones for the most part, not the armed fortress of DC.

These people make me sick with their lies, distortions and hypocrisy.

    It’s not a mass shooting,
if you take him out before the rampage gets rolling.
