Buuut you prob’ly already knew this

~ story ~

No, I don’t vouch for any of this, but I’m inclined to view it as more likely than not.

Two reasons I think it’s valid:
• Mass shooters undoubtedly prefer defenseless targets over well-defended targets.
• It doesn’t become a mass shooting, if the murdering scumbag is taken down quickly enough by weapons at hand.

So, nothing startling, here. I just liked the pie chart’s simple drama; and it supported my biases.

The blue slice events probably ended when the shooter was taken out by armed citizens before they could shoot more people.

What percentage of the country is ‘gun free zone’?
    [she said lazily being preoccupied]

    …and where?

Good question. Too much for sure, especially the large, densely populated, easy-pickings-for-a-mass-murderer zones like schools.
I do know that every time I disarm to go into a post office, I get nervous because the phrase “going postal” is bouncing around in my head.

There are no gun-free zones… for criminals.
Gun-free means prohibited, not guaranteed absent.

    Remember, concealed means concealed.
    Just sayin’…

My post office has metal detectors. I can see a felony conviction from the Feds all the way over here.
