    The term “Ugly American” was coined (by Soviet propaganda originally, but I digress…) because Americans allegedly wanted everything ‘Murica wherever they travel(l)ed.

    So what does that say about Brits who expect no misunderstandings when they don’t enter dates as expected in the country they’re in?

    Because everyone knows that where the form says date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY) that means DD/MM/YYYY
