    I’m told that the average curvature of the Earth is roughly eight inches per mile. At this distance, it’s a factor.

    With a 16″ kill zone, that’s about .3-.4 MOA, without any other factors.
    Awesome, indeed!
    I figger good chance any torso and most limb hits are fatal with a 50 cal round.

    Imagine the mirage and wind-drift at that range. There could even be opposing wind-drifts at that range.

    I’d like to think this was the result of long, hard hours of intense training, but if the shooter is like the few Canadians I know, he probably was barely able to even see his target and said “Oh bloody hell, why not, eh?” and let fly.
