And now, a message to us Trogs from Stratos

One of The Cloud Minders oinks

One little proggie…

On the Fourth of July of all days … New York Times columnist Bret Stephens said President Donald Trump’s supporters are “idiots” who need to “admire” elites.

Stephens whined that conservatives “demonize” and do not “admire” elites who are “educated” and care about things like “culture” and the “cultivation of the human soul.”

So-called real Americans are screwing up America. Maybe they should leave, so that we can replace them with new and better ones: newcomers who are more appreciative of what the United States has to offer, more ambitious for themselves and their children, and more willing to sacrifice for the future. Three words…

Orwell reminds us

It’s no wonder that these arrogant pigs are so despised by regular Americans.

He says that he and his elite class are the ones that care about the cultivation of the human soul while, at the same time, advocate for and defend a 7th century Middle Eastern religious ideology that oppresses women (in the actual sense – not in the imagined one) and dehumanizes anyone who is a non-believer – to the point of viciously killing them. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me but I think this guy is a dumb-ass turd who is on the downside of history. That’s what I think.

his elite class are the ones that care about the cultivation of the human soul
Betcha he’s not a regular churchgoer nor does he pray regularly – so much for the human soul, especially his.

And lots of other non-immigrant, non-”elites” worked hard for a long time (+/- 12 generations of my family), fought wars, built things, invented things, discovered things, made things to give him his opportunity to be an elite, live in one of the world’s greatest cities, and look down his brown nose at them.

“I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce, and agriculture, in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain.”

Well, what I do know is that the Star Trek actresses with the zowiewow outfits were also lousy actresses.

(How’s that for culture, Bret ‽)

“idiots” who need to “admire” elites

Keep *criticizing*, you Frankfurt-spawned, Marcuse-spewin’, Fromm-lovin’, self important doosh elite. “the cultivation of the human soul” via behaving like cats in an alley? Nice theory you got, there…
[btw, if you actually comprehend any of the above references, I'll eat my truck.]

It’s that kind of talk that will rid US of your kind forever.

After the uprising of the 17th June
The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
    Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

    from Berthold Brecht’s “The Solution”
Herr Brecht was an elitist in the now defunct “People’s Democratic Republic of Germany who wrote this poem, it was said, with tongue in cheek. “Elitists” like Bret Stephens, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and others are serious about replacing the “deplorables” with others who allegedly would be more “grateful” (like who – the Tsarnaev brothers, the Somalis in Minnesota who were convicted of colluding with terrorist groups like Al-Shahaab, and the MS-13 gang members from El Salvador?). But that was one of Stalin’s tactics: moving troublesome groups of people like the Armenians, the Chechens, and Volga Germans to remote hellholes in the USSR where many of them perished.

Cultivate the soul. Maybe learn a secret handshake.
One hand clapping. Actually just the sound of being slapped silly.

Off to herd cats. Actually would like to stick some in the trunk on a hot day with an elite or two. Drive down a gravel road and get their minds right.
