Doug, the funny thing is that the left used to HATE the NFL, and football in general. Now they love it.

    So evidently…

I don’t get how it’s a help for Saudi women to drive if they still cannot leave the home without a owner ‘guardian’ male relative…

Saudi woman driver allows Saudi male escort to sit beside her, read map, and beat her at stoplights when she tells him to “ask for directions.”

Personally, I think it was pushed by a couple of princelings gettin’ tired of some of their wives goin’ on an’ on about driving, and just wanted ‘em to shut up already.
I’m pretty sure that’s how half the laws in the West are made, too.
    Nagging is power.

Nice toons, kinda miss the Punch Back series…

The football one could also be titled “The Punch Back of Notre Dame”.

If I recall correctly, some somewhat famous blogger wrote “punch back twice as hard”.

    ^ Dammit!!!!!
Consider the Notre Dame thing stolen for a future post.

I was gonna say something about you bein’ a new commenter,
but it sounds like you’ve been around for a while.

Yeah, I love Punch cartoons — have bound volumes of about 3/4 of the pre-WWII issues. It’s the definitive history of Victorian/Edwardian British society.
